Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for cleaning flue gas, in particular from waste incineration plants with the characteristics of The preamble of claim 1.
Flue gases from waste incineration plants are in one complex flue gas cleaning system freed of pollutants. A known variant of such systems consists of a Spray dryer, one dedusting and two in series Washers, the first of which is hydrogen halide and the second sulfur oxides removed from the flue gases. That follow further process steps, e.g. B. the Removal of nitrogen oxides and organic trace substances. At This process gives the spray dryer two essentials Functions too. On the one hand, the temperature of the flue gas should rise a value that is advantageous for the subsequent dedusting to be set, and on the other hand those from the rest Process steps originating process water by means of Spray dryer can be evaporated. The resulting Solids are downstream of the spray dryer Dedusting removed from the overall process. The evaporating process water consist mainly of the Drainage flows from the two washers. The acidic ingredients Hydrogen halides and sulfur oxides are made with milk of lime neutralized.
The milk of lime used as a neutralizing agent is produced in a slaking station from quicklime, water and possibly other auxiliary substances and thus contains not inconsiderable amounts of water. The reactivity of the lime milk produced in the extinguishing system has a significant influence on the quality of the SO 2 separation in the SO 2 scrubber. To achieve sufficient reactivity, high quality requirements are placed on the extinguishing water used for extinguishing.
The amount of water evaporated in the spray dryer and in the HCl washer depends mainly on the condition of the flue gases, such as humidity and Temperature at the entrance to the spray dryer. The flue gas is caused by the adiabatic effect occurring in both apparatus Heat and mass transfer almost to the Cooling limit temperature cooled. The during this Cooling process is the moisture absorbed by the flue gas known methods not or only within narrow limits influenceable. However, the origin can be the preceding one Use and quality of the system Spray dryer / HCl scrubber fed water differently be. The water to be evaporated comes from the known Plants depending on the pollutant load of the raw gases Essential parts from those required for neutralization Lime milk. Accordingly, this portion is the one to be used Process water beforehand in good quality of the limestone extinguishing system to provide.
The invention has for its object the generic To design the process so that the spray dryer with inferior process water can be operated.
This task is carried out in a generic method according to the invention by the characterizing features of Claim 1 solved. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.
Under a dry neutralizing agent, one such solid, granular, flowable means understood, which by can bring with it certain proportions of water without however, to be pumpable. Using one dry neutralizing agent remains with the inventive method, the total amount of the Neutralization reaction formed reaction salts unchanged.
However, the one fed to the HCl scrubber contains Neutralizing agent flow no significant water content.
A reduction in the necessary for neutralization Amounts of water come with a number of advantages, including: that of a balanced water balance. That for evaporation in Spray water required process water before Integration in the "spray dryer-scrubber neutral station" system be used for another use, e.g. B. for additional Rinsing droplet separators. That in the limestone extinguishing system Water of relatively high quality to be used must be in reduced extent to the production of a dissolved or suspended neutralizing agent are provided. This means that the quality requirements for the to provide the remaining part of the process water used. First the lower quality requirement achievable by the invention of the water to be evaporated in the flue gas cleaning system enables the use of other process steps in which contaminated waste water occur.
If a carbonate, e.g. B. Limestone compared to quicklime or quicklime an inexpensive neutralizing agent is available. While quicklime to achieve good lime milk qualities must have sufficient fineness, needs Limestone or dolomite is only a relatively coarser grain to show, because of the low pH of the HCl scrubber drain or the HCl scrubber cycle liquid very high reaction rates between the carbonate and the acidic reaction can be achieved. It can part of the grinding work to be saved. Likewise diminishes energetically by the elimination of the extensive burning of the limestone is a large part of the Primary energy requirements for the provision of the Neutralizing agent.
The limestone extinguishing station can be made smaller because Lime milk almost exclusively for the neutralization of the Sulfur dioxide is needed. Existing retrofits Depending on the type of extinguishing station, the dwell time can be attached of the lime in the extinguishing station, resulting in a Lime milk reactivity increases. It will be one too single - stage neutralization station possible, so that compared to the known two-stage design a container, a pump and Dosing and control devices can be omitted.
When dolomite rock is used as a neutralizing agent, the crude acid produced in the HCl scrubber can be used for dolomite digestion. This enables valuable magnesium salts to be formed, which can be used to increase the performance of the SO 2 scrubber after suitable processing.
Several embodiments of the invention are shown on the Drawing explained in more detail below. The drawing shows a Process scheme for cleaning flue gas.
Uncleaned flue gas (raw gas) from a furnace, e.g. B. a waste incinerator is dedusted in a first dust collector, not shown, and then enters a spray dryer 1 . In this spray dryer 1 , process water from a line 2 is sprayed into the raw gas stream. The process water evaporates in the heat exchange with the raw gas. The cooled raw gas arrives in a further deduster 3. After leaving this deduster 3 , the raw gas is fed to a first scrubber 4 , the HCl scrubber and then to a second scrubber 5 , the SO 2 scrubber. The second scrubber 5 leaves the gas as clean gas and is optionally released into the environment through a chimney after denitrification or further flue gas cleaning steps.
Process water is added to the first scrubber 4 via a line 6 and a dry, solid neutralizing agent via a line 7 connected to the head or the laundry sump. Oxides, hydroxides or carbonates of alkaline earth metals or mixtures thereof, such as quicklime, calcium hydroxide, dolomite rock or preferably limestone, are used as the dry, solid neutralizing agent. A pH value is set such that the hydrogen halides, in particular HCl, are removed from the raw gas in the first scrubber 4 . Process water (e.g. for rinsing the droplet separators present in the scrubber 5 ) and lime milk or another neutralizing agent which can be used for flue gas desulfurization are fed via a line 9 to the second scrubber 5 via a line 8 in such an amount that due to the adjusting pH in this second scrubber 5, the sulfur oxides are removed from the raw gas. The process water containing reaction salts used in the second scrubber 5 is fed to a neutralization station 10 , if appropriate after the separation of usable gypsum (not shown). In this neutralization station 10 , the flooding of the second scrubber 5 is neutralized with a neutralizing agent consisting of lime milk, which is supplied via a line 11 . The neutralized process water treated in this way is fed via line 2 into the spray dryer 1 . The reaction salts obtained as solids during the evaporation of the process water are separated in the deduster 3 and discharged via a line 12 .
In another exemplary embodiment, part of the washing liquid or the discharge from the first scrubber 4 is fed to a reactor 13 and here a dry, solid neutralizing agent is added, which is fed in via a line 14 . The thus treated is passed through a blowdown line 15 into the second scrubber 5 downstream neutralization station 10 and there neutralized together with the blowdown of the second scrubber 5 with milk of lime, and then sprayed into the spray dryer. 1 All or part of the washing liquid treated in the reactor 13 can be returned from the reactor 13 to the scrubber 4 .
If a carbonate neutralizing agent is introduced into the reactor 13 , 4 carbon dioxide is produced by reaction with the acidic flooding of the first scrubber. This carbon dioxide is collected, discharged via a line 16 and can be usefully used in another process. The carbon dioxide formed can advantageously be used for the treatment of rust ash which is produced when waste materials are burned in a waste incineration plant, the flue gases of which are cleaned in the manner described.
The flooding of the first scrubber 4 neutralized with the dry neutralizing agent can also be fed into the second scrubber 5 via a line 17 . This is particularly advantageous if dolomite rock is used as the solid neutralizing agent, since the degree of separation of the sulfur oxides in the second scrubber 5 is improved by the magnesium salts present from the dolomite rock.
The first washer 4 is provided with a liquid circulation 18 , through which washing liquid is pumped out of the washing sump to a liquid atomization located in the head or in the washing zone of the washing device 4 . In a further exemplary embodiment, the dry neutralizing agent can be fed into the liquid circulation 18 via a line 19 .
In a further exemplary embodiment, the dry, solid neutralizing agent can also be input directly into the first scrubber 4 . The addition of the dry neutralizing agent via a feed 20 to the flue gas stream entering the first scrubber 4 can also be useful.
