Abstract

Floor drain with a one-piece molded part which comprises a pot (10), a collar (14) and a pipe socket (12) on the bottom side, the molded part consisting of a first plastic, characterized in that the first plastic is water-resistant, heat-resistant and chemical-resistant, and that the floor drain comprises a sleeve (20) made of a second adhesive plastic different from the first plastic, the floor-side pipe socket (12) being lined by the sleeve (20) and the floor-side pipe socket (12) fixed to the sleeve (20) is connected.

Description

The present invention relates to a floor drain with the features according to the preamble of claim 1.

From the DE 85 08 045 U1 is a floor drain of the aforementioned type known. The floor drain described therein comprises a one-piece molded part of a pot, a bottom-side connecting piece and a collar which consists of a plastic. The connection of the floor drain, in particular of the connection piece to the pipe is carried out by a socket connection or by means of a lip seal.

Another floor drain is from the US 3,037,631 known. The process described therein comprises an integral part having a drain pot, an upper collar and a bottom pipe socket. In the space between the pipe socket and a projecting into this on-site drain pipe, a seal is pressed, which partially engages in a radial groove of the pipe socket and is held by this engagement in position.

Another floor drain is from the US 4,092,745 known. The floor drain described therein comprises in a first embodiment, a one-piece plastic part having a drain pot, an upper collar and a bottom-side pipe socket. As plastic ABS or PVC is proposed. An on-site drain pipe can be inserted into the pipe socket from below and glued to the pipe socket. In a second embodiment, the one-piece plastic part only the drain pot and the upper collar, but not the bottom-side pipe socket. Rather, the on-site drain pipe can be kept directly in the drain pot. For this purpose, two retaining rings are glued into the drain pot, which receive between them an elastic seal from which the drain pipe is held.

Another floor drain is from the US 2,568,521 known. The process described therein comprises an integral part having a drain pot, an upper collar and a bottom pipe socket. An on-site drainage pipe can be inserted from below into the pipe socket. In this case, the space between the inside of the pipe socket and the outside of the drain pipe of lead or a similar sealant is filled.

The object of the invention is to be seen to set up a floor drain of the type initially so that the connection with the pipeline can be done permanently but easier. This object is achieved by a floor drain with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

The subclaims contain preferred embodiments of this solution.

In this floor drain there is the possibility to produce the connection between the pipe and pot without the use of a sleeve in a simple manner by plugging in, which consists of a stickable plastic pipe with the equally adhesive cuff permanently durable can be glued. There must be a firm connection between the sleeve made of adhesive plastic and the pipe socket made of durable plastic, which according to the further invention is preferably produced by spraying the molded part made of durable plastic onto the sleeve.

An embodiment of the invention will be described below with reference to the drawing, which is a longitudinal section through a floor drain according to the invention.

The outer pipe socket 12 , which is used to connect a pipe, is firmly connected to a cuff 20 lined, which consists of a stickable plastic, preferably made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). This offers the possibility to easily establish a permanent connection with a conduit 21 (shown in dashed lines), which can also be inserted made of a stickable plastic and glued to the sleeve.
