Abstract

The mouthpiece (1) has a mouthpiece head with an oval-cylindrical basic shape and a mouthpiece throat (3), which can be inserted in the tube extension of instrument. The mouthpiece throat is penetrated by a central, conically formed blowing channel (6). The blowing channel is widened inside the mouthpiece head into an oval hollow (4). The open side of the hollow is enclosed (2) in an oval fashion. The lip extension edge (5) is oval. The mouthpiece is available for corresponding wind instruments in three different sizes. The location surface for the lips is larger than customary mouthpieces, so that a greater pressure for sound production can be produced and the musical notes can be formed in an easier manner.

Description

(A) advantages
in use compared to conventional mouthpieces due to the modified oval-elliptical shape because:

  • a) the contact surface of the lips on the lip base edge 5 is considerably enlarged compared to conventional mouthpieces,
  • b) the power transmission through the lips on the ergonomic mouthpiece considerably is larger than conventional mouthpieces,
  • c) the clay is much easier to shape than conventional mouthpieces,
  • d) more pressure can be applied by the lips on the lip base edge 5 compared to conventional mouthpieces,
  • e) considerably more convenient and durable compared to conventional mouthpieces can be played.

B) Innovation compared to conventional mouthpieces

  • a) the mouthpiece head 1 has an oval-elliptical cylindrical basic shape which is expanded on the inside to form an oval-elliptical bowl 4 which leads to the mouthpiece neck 3 in a cylindrical bore 7 ,
  • b) the oval-elliptical mouthpiece head 1 leads into a tubular attachment of a wind instrument mouthpiece neck 3 ,
  • d) the boiler 4 is enclosed on its open side in an oval-elliptical shape 2 ,
  • e) the lip lip edge 5 is oval-elliptical.

Claims (5)
