In der Fig. 1 ist ein Schnitt durch eine Doppelkappnaht dargestellt. Mittels der beiden Nähte 3 sind zwei textile Flächengebilde 1, 2 miteinander verbunden. Der Druck ist dabei so bemessen, daß ein "Aufbäumen" bei Erwärmung durch die Hochfrequenzstrahlung verhindert wird und gleichzeitig Querschnittsminderungen bzw. ein hochfrequenzreaktiver Polymer-Folienstreifen (4) in die Fügeverbindung zwischen die im Nahtbereich parallel verlaufenden und einander zugewandten Schnittkanten der textilen Flä­ chengebilde (1, 2) während des Nähprozesses eingearbeitet wird,
anschließend die Polymermasse unter Druckwirkung auf die Naht mittels Hochfrequenzstrahl­ ung in eine niedrigviskose Polymermasse aufgeschmolzen wird, und nach dem Ausfüllen und der Abdichtung der Nahteinstichlöcher und Nähgutzwischenräume mit der niedrigviskosen Po­ lymermasse die Druckwirkung aufgehoben und nachfolgend die Fügeverbindung abgekühlt wird.
