Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf Markierungskörper aus Kunststoff (Plastic), insbesondere zur Begrenzung von Straßen, Baustellen oder anderen Gefahrenbereichen in Form τοη Pfählen, Rohren, Bändern, Planken, Schildern u„ä. Die bekannten Begrenzungskörper bestehen aus Beton-, Stahl- oder auch aus Kunststoffrohren oder besonders geformten Profilen, die mit sogenannten Katzenaugen oder Rückstrahlern aus Glas bestückt und in bekannter Weise das auffallende Licht reflektierend vor Gefahren warnen sollen,, Als nachteilig hat sich herausgestellt, daß diese aus Glas bestehenden Katzenaugen durch Verschmutzung ihre Wirkung besonders deshalb verlieren, weil ihre wirksame Fläche sehr klein ist. Diese Glasfläche zu vergrößern würde aber zu teuer werden und mit dem Nachteil behaftet sein, viel leichter noch als bisher durch Steinschlag beschädigt zu werden. Als, weiterer Nachteil wird empfunden, daß diese Gefahren anzeigenden Markierungen zwar das licht des Auto- oder Radfahrers reflektieren aber dem Fußgänger keine Erkennungsmöglichkeit bieten.
