Abstract

Wesentlich erleichtert wird der Vorgang, wenn zumindest einer der Dauermagnete in an sich bekannter Weise abschaltbar ausgebildet ist. Diese Bauart kennt man im Maschinenbau etwa bei der temporären Befestigung einer Meßkonsole. Das Prinzip eines abschaltbaren Dauermagneten beruht darauf, daß er durch zwei Teilmagnete gebildet wird, deren Lage zueinander verstellt werden kann. In der EIN-Stellung ergänzen sich deren Magnetfelder zu einem gemeinsamen, nach außen wirksamen Gesamtmagnetfeld. In der AUS- Stellung wirken ihre Magnetfelder gegeneinander und heben sich in ihrer Wirkung nach außen auf. Wird einer der Dauermagnete 36 solchermaßen abschaltbar gemacht (über einen von außen z. B. mittels eines Schraubenziehers verdrehbaren Hebels), so kann das Schild an dieser Stelle leichter hochgekippt werden, womit dann die anderen Dauermagnete ebenfalls vom Dach weggehebelt werden.As shown in FIG. 4, the underside of the cover 38 defines a contact plane 39 which is only a few millimeters below the base plane 24 . Wird nämlich die Magnetspule mittels Gleichstrom so erregt, daß das von ihr erzeugte Magnetfeld dem Magnetfeld des Dauermagneten entgegenwirkt, dann hat man eine sehr elegante Methode, um das Schild auf einfachste Weise "durch Knopfdruck" vom Dach frei zu bekommen. Diese Ausgestaltung empfiehlt sich dann, wenn ein Fahrzeug häufig zwischen Privat- und Taxibetrieb umgewidmet wird und für Privatfahrten das Taxischild abgenommen werden soll.With a taxi sign, as mentioned, a power supply is required for the correct interior lighting.
