Wenn der Deckel 4 vollständig nach hinten geschwenkt ist, wird das hintere Dachteil 5 in die in Fig. 3 dargestellte Lage abgesenkt, wobei sich der Deckel 4 dann bei dem im Beispiel dargestellten zweisitzigen Sportwagen etwa horizontal auf Höhe der Gürtellinie 11 befindet und dabei einen hinter den Sitzen liegenden Gepäckraum von oben her abdeckt. Durch das nach hinten Verschwenken des Deckels 4 ist oberhalb der Sitze eine targaartige Dachöffnung 14 freigelegt. Hierbei kann auch eine mechanische Kopplung der Schwenkbewegungen des hinteren Dachteils 5 und des Deckels 4 vorgesehen sein. In jedem Falle ist durch die erfindungsgemäße Konstruktion ein einfaches vollständiges Entfernen des Deckels ermöglicht und bei geöffnetem Dach besteht eine ausgezeichnete Sicht nach hinten.
