Abstract
Description
Brauchwasser. The invention relates to a system according to claim 1 and a method according to claim 10 for descaling and sterilizing drinking or Process water.
The areas of application are mainly to be found where quantities of up to 5 m 3 per hour have to be descaled and where the consumer also needs germ-free and particle-free water. These include medical practices, dentists and oral surgeons, households, cosmetics and pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospitals, water treatment for aquariums, electronics industry, laboratories, laundries and photo laboratories and the like.
This is the case in many areas of industry, households and medicine Problem of the contamination of drinking water, e.g. B. by descaling plants, especially in chemical descaling plants. The ge total bacterial count found in water after decalcification the permissible values according to the Drinking Water Ordinance considerably exceed. The reasons for the contamination are often the decalcification systems themselves, the type of piping and the long pipes ways.
Germination occurs particularly when the water is at a standstill treatment or descaling system, e.g. B. over the weekend that contaminated water in the pipes for a long time. this leads to often to warm the water and as a result increases the germ pay significantly. The end users, such as B. dentists or doctors, can therefore when a water treatment plant is restarted not readily on water in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance or use sterile water if necessary.
The invention is therefore based on the idea of drinking and drinking to prepare water so that the end user, such as. B. Practices etc., always decalcified, particle-free and germ-free drinking water Available.
This task is solved by a compact, modular design built processing plant, as set out in claim 1.
In the present invention, the descaling is carried out chemically using ion exchangers or physically using electrical fields. The system distinguishes itself from known water treatment systems for water quantities of up to 5 m 3 / h in that the decalcified water is then treated with a UV light unit in order to bring about a first reduction in germs and virus killing. Since UV light is not always effective with gram + bacteria and algae, another advantage of this system is seen in the fact that a further additional treatment step for the water is carried out using a sterile filter. In addition, the sterile filter prevents possible contamination of the following line sections if the UV light unit fails, the system is at a standstill or a covering, e.g. B. bacterial lawn, should have formed on the quartz glass of the UV light unit. In this way, the system at the water extraction point always guarantees germ-free and particle-free water.
The measures and features according to the invention do not allow just an easily manageable, user-friendly and maintenance-friendly and low-volume device construction, but also a modular com combination of components, such as B. decalcifier and UV light unit or Ent limescale and sterile filter. This allows the device to be different Connection conditions and customer requests regarding descaling, Adjust disinfection and filtration, as well as to the desired extent Retrofitting.
Es zeigen:The invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawing explained in more detail. Show it:

Fig. 3 das Fließschema gemäß Fig. 1 ohne Sterilfilter; und Fig. 3 shows the flow diagram of Figure 1 without a sterile filter. and
Fig. 4 das Fließschema gemäß Fig. 1 ohne Entkalker. Fig. 4 shows the flow diagram of FIG. 1 without descaler.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the system according to the invention consists of a decalcification device 6 , 7 , a germ reduction unit 8 and a sterile filtration 9 , 10 .
The water to be treated is connected via an appropriate connection, e.g. B. taken from the existing supply network. This is fed to the system through a shut-off valve with a pressure reducing valve 1 . The subsequent magnetic safety valve 4 closes automatically when the system is switched off and in the event of malfunctions from the descaler 6 , 7 or the UV light unit 8. The descaling is then carried out chemically by means of ion exchangers 6 . During the regeneration time of one ion exchange column, a control system 3 can be used to switch automatically to a second ion exchange column without a system stop. After decalcifying agent 7 , decalcified water can be added automatically or manually in the bypass 5 . Then the water passes a UV light unit 8 to reduce the number of germs and to kill UV light sensitive microorganisms, such as. B. Viruses that can also occur in water. To prevent surviving germs and particles are supplied to the consumer, the next water treatment stage is clear and sterile filtration 9 , 10 , z. B. with commercially available ceramic or plastic filters. One requirement is e.g. B. given when UV light-resistant microorganisms may no longer be present in the water. The filter housing 9 should be pressure-resistant and therefore made of materials such. B. be metal or plastic. The sterile and clear filtered water can then be removed from the end user via a corresponding connection 2 . The operating parameters (e.g. water hardness, pressure difference, etc.) are set using a central electronic control and regulating device 3 . Solenoid valve 4 , decalcifier 6 , 7 , UV light unit 8 and pressure meter 11 on filter housing 9 are connected to control and regulating device 3 for operational monitoring.
In the Fig. 2 shown further embodiment according to claim 3 of a water treatment system with decalcifier 6 , 7 and with sterile filter 9 , 10 , for. B. at a low initial germ load, the germ reduction stage by means of UV light unit can be dispensed with. The sterile filter 9 , 10 still ensures germ-free and particle-free water at the tapping point 2 .
The further possible embodiment shown in FIG. 3 according to claim 4 of a water treatment system with decalcifier 6 , 7 and with UV light unit 8 dispenses with the sterile filtration stage. This can e.g. B. be the case when no sterile water, such as. B. water according to the Drinking Water Ordinance, is required, or the killing of UV-sensitive microorganisms, such as. B. Viruses is required.
The possible embodiment of a water treatment unit shown in FIG. 4 according to claim 8 dispenses with the decalcifier 6 , 7 if decalcification stages are already installed, or e.g. B. Spring, rain and surface water should be treated. Here, the UV light unit 8 is used for germ reduction and the sterile filter 9 , 10 for clear and sterile filtration, as shown in FIGS. 1-3.
