Abstract

The system simulates moving obstacles on roads for use in traffic training areas and involves three or more rails equipped with switchable water valves. The valves (WS1....WSn) are controlled by a computer (R) and are triggered by induction loops (IS1,IS2) laid in the road surface so as to form water jets in blocks in order to simulate moving pedestrians or suddenly appearing road obstacles. The computer carries a set of programs for selection by the instructor. Thus the jet obstacles program can produce moving obstacles for the vehicle to avoid.
