Abstract

An arrangement for collecting and cleansing liquids, especially rainwater, for installation in a collection vessel, especially a rainwater butt, comprises a self-cleansing semi-permeable separation surface, especially a sieve, located under the inlet. The separation surface has a bowl type edge, which can be tipped. The semi-permeable surface preferably has the vessel connected to it. The surface preferably tips back to its normal position under the action of a weight. Use - The arrangement is used for collecting and cleansing liquids, especially rainwater. Advantage - The arrangement is small and can easily be located between the inlet and dirt removal point.

Description

Several self-cleaning filters for cleaning, especially rainwater, are on the market and Secured by patent (DE 38 12 136 A1, DE 38 19 962 A1, DE 34 04 792 A1, G 8406826.4, G 9304376.7, G 8404041.6, G 9304952.8, EO 517202 A1, DE 35 37 609 A1, G 8704288.6, DE 195 19 497 A1). In all Filters have a vertical to horizontal separating surface, especially a sieve, for cleaning the liquid, especially rainwater. Self-cleaning is achieved through loss of fluid, that do not penetrate the semi-permeable interface and thus transport the dirt further. Practical experience shows that self-cleaning with low filter water losses on best with almost vertical semipermeable membrane with the support of centrifugal forces is working. At the same time, the design height of the filter increases with this installed separating surface (Height difference between inlet and dirt outlet). This height offset varies depending on the construction and designed liquid flow rate between 0 and 50 cm. The greatest height offset is the filter can be assigned with the almost vertical and very well self-cleaning separating surface. This filter type has when building new rainwater harvesting systems with several downpipes and underground ones Filter installation prevailed. Retrofitting a rainwater harvesting system with this filter is rare possible, as well as installation in a rainwater storage tank, due to the large height. The Height of the filter, with the same self-cleaning effect, the same liquid throughput and Filter efficiency, reduced by the device with the protection claims 1 to 4 characteristics listed.

The advantages achieved by the invention are the low structural height between the inlet and Dirt drainage without sacrificing filter efficiency, pore sizes and Result in self-cleaning effect. Almost all cleaning applications can be carried out, especially from Rainwater to be covered.

The function results from protection claim 1. The horizontal separating surface ( 2 ), which is normally arranged under the inlet ( 1 ), filters the contaminated rainwater and then directs it to the storage drain ( 3 ).

As soon as the separating surface with the bowl-like edge becomes clogged with dirt, the water rises above the separating surface until the weight of the water causes the separating surface to tip over. Cleaned water immediately flows back into the storage tank ( 4 ) below the separating surface according to protection claim 2 and additionally cleans the separating surface by backwashing. The dirt and the filter waste water flow away via the dirt drain ( 5 ). As soon as the memory and the separating surface have run empty, the separating surface tilts back into the horizontal normal position by a force, in particular a weight ( 7 ) according to protection claim 3.

The tipping back is supported by a storage flap ( 6 ) on the dividing surface according to protection claim 4. The function can be checked via the cover ( 8 ) on the dome shaft ( 9 ).
