Abstract

A novel method manufactures the frame for roller skates, especially roller blades. A core is produced, corresponding to the shape of the required frame. Plastic-impregnated fibrous layers are applied, their shape being that of the required frame. This assembly is then placed into a mould and hot-pressed, to harden the composite, completing the frame. Preferably, a part of the core is bevelled to fit a corresponding bevel formed in the mould, to hold the core and composite securely in place.

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing the frame for scooter Scates or the like.

For the manufacture of tubular components such as those for golf clubs and whose rackets are needed, it is known to use graphite and glass fibers the. These tubular components have no holes or openings. So lets blow compressed air into the tubular component and thus an internal pressure exercise the tube, which is also subjected to a hot pressing operation. Of the Frame for roller scates can not be made from tubular components and requires recesses or openings, which has led to the fact that composite materials for the manufacture of such frames have so far not been used Usually, skate frames are made of aluminum alloy or art fabric made.

The invention aims at the aforementioned disadvantages in the manufacture of Avoid skate frames. So the invention is mainly the task reasons to specify a method by which a skate frame made of composite fabric can be produced.

According to the invention, this object is achieved with the features of patent claim 1 solved. So the method is that one produces a fitting, the Ge stalt corresponds to that of the frame that one has several layers of with plastic soaked fibers prepared and cut to length and these composite fibers on applies the fitting and thereby brings the fibers into the shape of the frame, whereupon one uses a mold, the mold cavity of which the fitting and the ge soaked fibers, whereupon the shape and the fibers are hot-pressed be subjected so as to harden the fibers and thus to form the frame men.

The fitting has a bevelled part and the shape is also with provided with a chamfered flange which is the chamfered part of the fitting detected such that it is held securely in the mold cavity of the mold.

Es zeigen:Further features and advantages of the invention result from the following ing description, in which an exemplary embodiment is explained with reference to the drawing is tert. Show it:

Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht eines Skate-Rahmens, der mit dem erfin dungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellt werden soll; Figure 1 is a perspective view of a skate frame, which is to be produced with the inventive method.

Fig. 2 eine auseinandergezogene Ansicht einer Form; Figure 2 is an exploded view of a mold.

Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch die Form und Fig. 3 shows a section through the shape and

Fig. 4, 5 und 6 Schnitte unterschiedlicher Ausführungen der Form. Fig. 4, 5 and 6 are sectional views of different embodiments of the mold.

First, the method according to the invention for producing a frame for a roller skate or the like from composite material in a hot press process is explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. From FIGS. 2 and 3 that a mold 4 is used for performing the method is apparent. The mold 4 consists of a lower mold half 42 and an upper mold half 41 , each mold half being provided with a mold cavity 410 into which a molded piece 2 is inserted. Several layers of fibers impregnated with plastic 3 ( FIG. 3) are cut off and placed on the outside of the molding 2 , the molding 2 corresponding to the shape of the frame 1 . The mold 4 and the fibers 3 of the composite are then subjected to a hot pressing process in order to harden the plastic with the fibers 3 of the composite and to form the frame 1 after the fibers 3 have cooled.

As best shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the molded part 2 preferably has a beveled part 21 which abuts a beveled flange 411 of the upper mold half 41 so that the molded part 2 is held securely in the mold cavities 410 of the mold halves 41 and 42 .

In a modified embodiment according to FIG. 4, the molded part 5 can largely sit in the mold cavity of the upper mold half 51 and is only partially in the lower mold half 52 . Referring to FIG. 5, the fitting 70 can also be arranged fixedly on the lower mold half 7 and is located in the mold cavity of the upper mold half 71. Fig. 4 shows a shaped piece 60 , which sits in the Formhohlräu men two side mold halves 61 and 62 .
