Abstract
Description
The invention is concerned with the formation of coaxial sound Speaker arrangements, in particular with the sound alignment in such Systems.
Coaxial speaker arrangements are common in the prior art formed so that a first speaker is present, which is a magnet system and comprises a membrane. Such speakers are mostly as Cone loudspeaker designed, although also coaxial loudspeaker arrangements are known in which the first speaker is equipped with a flat membrane is. To simplify the presentation, the following is coaxial Speaker arrangements assumed that the first speaker Is cone speaker. The invention is limited to cone speakers but not connected to it. Centric to the loudspeaker central axis of this first Loudspeaker is another in the space encased by the cone membrane Speakers arranged. In general, this is realized so that the further Loudspeaker placed on the pole core of the first loudspeaker and with it connected is. Such an arrangement is described, for example, in DE-GM 92 10 463 shown. In addition, arrangements are also known in which the further Loudspeakers by means of webs which are connected to the loudspeaker basket in the is held by the conical membrane encased space. This is also the DE A 41 16 341 pointed out.
Coaxial speaker arrangements are used when it comes down to the tightest Room sound signals of separate frequencies from different speakers to emit. In practice, this means that with coaxial sound speaker arrangements the first speaker reproducing low, medium or medium / low frequency audio signals is reserved while the others Speakers are more used for the emission of high-frequency sound signals becomes. Despite the space advantages given in coaxial loudspeaker arrangements Installation of such systems, however, such systems have a number of Disadvantages on. A disadvantage is that of coaxial speaker arrangements emitted sound signals belonging to different frequency spectra are radiated centrally to the loudspeaker center axis of the overall system, although the low-frequency sound signals are more spherical and the high ones frequency sound signals have a more club-shaped radiation characteristic. Want one the reflected perception of by means of the additional loudspeaker Avoid emitted high-frequency sound signals at the listening location, this means for practice that the installation locations for coaxial loudspeaker arrangements chosen must be that the relation of installation location and listening location a direct Perception of high-frequency sound signals allowed. Such conditions are but often not feasible. In this context, only to the Installation conditions of speakers in motor vehicles remembered. Independently from the fact that, for lack of other installation locations, loudspeakers are often only in the footwell can be arranged by vehicles, in addition, the listening location in Motor vehicles related to the respective installation location for the loudspeakers Is subject to change. In this context, only the different size of vehicle occupants pointed out, which - at least for the front seats - to different seat settings with sometimes considerable Changes in length and height.
Therefore, the invention has for its object a coaxial sound Specify speaker arrangement that radiated from such arrangements higher-frequency sound signals largely independent of the respective location such an arrangement.
This object is achieved according to claim 1 in that the further Loudspeaker with the first loudspeaker pivotable about its central axis connected is. This pivotability of the additional speaker allows the align the generated tweeter lobe to the listening location without thereby to the specifications of the respective installation location for the overall arrangement to be bound. When and how to swivel the other speaker around the central axis of the first loudspeaker is indifferent. This can for example already in the loudspeaker factory after the Overall arrangement has been completed. In this case, the production took place of coaxial speaker arrangements for a variety of vehicle types in similar way. The individual attitude, d. H. the panning of the further The loudspeaker then only takes place for the respective vehicle type in which one such arrangement should be used. A permanent fixation of the respective Swivel position is not necessary if the individual orientation of the Tweeter club should be left to the respective vehicle occupant. Should that Vehicle occupants manual alignment of the additional speaker can be removed, the pivoting of the additional speaker can also be coupled to the seat setting in the vehicle, so that regardless of the seat adjustment always an optimal club alignment to the respective Sitting position is done.
Advantageous further developments of the invention are claims 2-6 removable.
Then there are high degrees of freedom when swiveling the additional loudspeaker given when the connection between the two speakers according to Claim 2 is realized.
A particularly simple way of contacting the additional loudspeaker is then given if the measures according to claim 3 are observed. Especially is avoided by the type of contact specified there that by a Panning movement of the other speaker which is otherwise usual used cable connections between a sound signal source and the other Speakers can be destroyed.
Means for limiting the pivotability according to claim 4 are in particular necessary if the alignment is done manually by the respective driver of the Vehicle or in the loudspeaker factory by assembly workers. Hereby it is excluded that the additional loudspeaker is in physical contact with the Membrane of the first speaker. These limits are also necessary if the contacting of the further loudspeaker takes place according to claim 3, since in this case also to prevent polarity reversal of the contact surfaces Rotation of the additional loudspeaker about its Z axis in the receptacle must be excluded.
It is very advantageous, according to claim 5, the receiving pan exclusively in To train pole core.
If the pole core is formed according to claim 6, the two halves of the Polkerns are used simultaneously for contacting the other speaker.

The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the figures.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Koaxial-Lautsprecheranordnung 10. Fig. 1 shows a coaxial speaker assembly 10. This arrangement 10 is formed by a first loudspeaker 11 , which comprises a magnet system 12 , a basket 13 and a membrane 14 inserted into the basket 13 . The smaller of the two diameters of the conical membrane 14 is provided with a voice coil support 15 , around the outer jacket of which the voice coil 16 is wound. The magnet system 12 comprises a pole core 17 , which forms a unit with the lower pole plate 18 , a permanent magnet ring 19 and an upper pole plate 20 . Between the pole core 17 and the upper pole plate 20 there is an air gap 21 in the radial direction, in which the unit comprising the voice coil carrier 15 and the voice coil 16 is immersed.
A further loudspeaker 22 is arranged centrally to the loudspeaker center axis of this loudspeaker 11 . This loudspeaker 22 , which in the present exemplary embodiment is designed as a dome tweeter, is provided with a rod 23 , the free end 24 of which is spherical. The unit consisting of rod 23 and spherical end 24 is also referred to as ball pin 25 in connection with this application. This ball pin 25 is stored in a receiving pan 26 . For this purpose, the upper end 27 of the pole core 17 is provided with a hemispherical depression 28 . The other half-shells 29 of the receptacle 26 are formed in an adapter part 30 which is placed on the upper end 27 of the pole core 17 and connected to it. Furthermore, the end of the adapter part 30 facing away from the upper end 27 of the pole core 17 has a conically shaped opening 31 , which is penetrated by the rod 23 of the ball pin 25 . Readily FIG. 1 can be taken that the ball stud 25 and the speaker 22 connected thereto within the limits of which are formed by the walls of the tapered aperture 31 is movable. This mobility or variability is clarified by the specified angle relationship α. Also, Fig. 1 can be seen that the further speaker 22 receives a radiation direction different from the speaker center axis by pivoting, so that the sound waves emitted by the speaker 22 are largely independent of the installation position of the coaxial loudspeaker arrangement 10 . For the sake of completeness, it should be pointed out that because of the use of a ball pin 25, the swiveling is not only given in the paper plane but also perpendicularly and transversely thereto. If the pivotability of the loudspeaker 22 is to be permanently fixed, the adapter part 30 can, for example, be screwed to the pole core 17 (not shown), as a result of which the spherical end 24 of the ball pin 25 is clamped between the two parts 28 , 29 of the receiving socket 26 . The loudspeaker 22 can also be provided with a lever mechanism (not shown), whereby direct contact of the loudspeaker 22 for pivoting is excluded.
FIG. 2 shows a coaxial loudspeaker arrangement 10 which has a receiving pan 26 which is modified compared to FIG. 1. According to this embodiment, the receiving socket 26 is formed exclusively by the pole core 17 . For this purpose, the pole core 17 is divided into two halves 17.1 , 17.2 along the center line of the loudspeaker. On each of the mutually facing surfaces 32 of the two halves 17.1 , 17.2 a dome-shaped depression 28 'is formed, which form the two half-shells of the receiving pan 26 . Furthermore, a chamfer 31 'in the form of a half-funnel is provided at the upper end 27 of each pole core half 17.1 , 17.2 , which is penetrated by the rod 23 in the connected state of the two halves 17.1 , 17.2 and thus limit the pivoting angle α of the further loudspeaker 22 . If the pole core arrangement shown in FIG. 2 is only to be used for mounting the ball pin 25 , the spacing A shown between the two pole core halves 17.1 , 17.2 is not necessary.
FIG. 3a shows the mounting of the ball pin 25 in the receiving socket 26 according to FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale. In addition, 17 guide grooves 33 are provided to exclude the rotation of the speaker 22 about its axis Z in the adapter part 30 and at the upper end 27 of the pole core. Pins 34 engage in these guide grooves 33 and are connected to the spherical end 24 of the rod 23 . Since the depth of the guide grooves 33 perpendicular to the plane of the paper corresponds to the diameter of the round pins 34 , rotation of the loudspeaker 22 about the Z axis is excluded. The guide grooves 33 are provided with the end limits 35 shown in Fig. 3a, in another - not shown - embodiment can be dispensed with a conical shape of the opening 31 or the formation of the chamfers 31 'shown in Fig. 3a.
FIG. 3b shows a mounting of a ball pin 25 in a receiving socket 26 corresponding to the section BB in FIG. 2. For a better representation of the situation, the spherical end 24 of the rod 23 was shown uncut. Also, for reasons of better representation, the diameter of the spherical end 24 in the recess 28 'of the pole core half 17.1 was shown reduced. Significantly, however, the display is shown in FIG. 3b seen from that formed in Fig. 3a guide grooves 33 shown in Fig. 2 by the distance A between the two halves 17.1, 17.2 at the completion of the assembly shown with the Polkernhälfte 17.2. With this design, it is imperative that the upper end 27 of the pole core halves 17.1 , 17.2 be provided with the chamfers 31 'shown in order to the pivotability of the rod 23 or the speaker 22 in the arrangement shown in Fig. 2 and 3b limit. In this case, the distance A ( FIG. 2) must also be smaller than the diameter of the rod 23 . The double arrows shown indicate the pivoting movement of the ball pin 25 when the two halves 17.1 , 17.2 are completed to form a pole core 17 .
The two pole core halves 17.1 , 17.2 , if they are arranged at a distance A from one another as in FIG. 2, can also be used simultaneously for contacting the loudspeaker 22 . In order to achieve this, the lower pole plate 18 shown in FIG. 2 only has to be insulated from the permanent magnet ring 19 . Mutual insulation of the lower pole plate 18 and permanent magnet ring 19 by interposing, for example, a layer of plastic material can be dispensed with if the permanent magnet ring is formed from ferrite material, since ferrite has a very high resistance to the direct current resistance of the voice coil 16 . Apart from the fact that a layer of plastic material makes the production of such loudspeakers 10 more expensive, such a design would, in contrast to designs which use the insulating effect of fernite, worsen the magnetic flux in the magnet system 12 . For the sake of completeness, it should be pointed out that the insulating effect of the ferrite is not limited to the contacting of coaxial loudspeakers 10 . If the two pole core halves 17.1 or 17.2 are used as means for contacting the loudspeaker 22 , the two signal lines of an audio signal source can be connected in a very simple manner without the need for a plug, for example by soldering to the pole core halves 17.1 , 17.2 (the latter not shown). The type of this contacting in both recesses 28 'existing signal voltages are transmitted to the speaker 22 as shown in FIG. 3b in such a way that the ball pin 25 is formed essentially of metal and by means of an insulating layer (not shown) in two conductors is divided. For the sake of completeness, it should be pointed out that in the arrangement shown in FIG. 3b the insulating layer runs parallel to the surface 32 of the pole core half 17.1 and runs through the ball stud 25 in the region of its greatest transverse extension. In addition, the ball pin 25 is almost completely covered by a non-conductive material (not shown) on its outer contour to avoid short circuits. Only 2 contact pieces 36 are excluded from the sheathing with the non-conductive material in FIG. 3. These two contact pieces 36 extend perpendicular to the plane of the paper, so that when the other pole core half 17.2 is placed, these contact pieces 36 rest against the surface of the recess 28 'of the pole core half 17.2 and establish a conductive connection between the pole core half 17.2 and the ball pin 25 . If particularly good contacting is desired, the contact pieces 36 can also be designed as spring contact pieces in a manner known in the art. Only for the sake of completeness they pointed out that the part of the ball pin 25 lying in the recess 28 'of the pole core half 17 is identical to the part of the ball pin 25 visible in FIG. 3b and also comprises two contact pieces 36 . This type of training ensures that the depressions 28 'form in the respective pole core halves 17.1 , 17.2 together with the contact pieces 36 for a conductive connection within the articulated bearing.
The invention can be modified in many ways. For example in another embodiment, the storage shown by a Universal joint to be replaced.
