Abstract
Description
The present invention relates generally to the Field of single lens glasses and in particular on one Single lens glasses with two optical axes.
Single lens glasses are widely used in sports and industry, such single lens glasses covering the two eyes of a user in the immediate vicinity. FIG. 7 shows a conventional casting mold for producing single-focus single-lens glasses of the prior art. The conventional mold comprises a convex mold 11 and a concave mold 12 each with different radii for use in a plastic injection molding process in which the plastic is injected into the space between the molds. The individual lens glasses have a single center 13 , at which the lens is thickest.
This type of single lens glasses is used in sports and used in the industrial sector and serves for protection of human eyes, however, the eyes of the benut ters easily if such glasses over a is worn for a long time. Most people who Using these glasses, the problem is well known. The Problem is caused by the fact that the lens has only one optical axis, the central one is arranged instead of two optical axes that oppose are offset by a distance equal to the distance between the pupils of a person's two eyes corresponds, usually about 65 to 68 mm. This is the reason that the single lens glasses for human che eyes may not be comfortable after if one such glasses worn over a long period of time has been.
It is therefore the object of the present invention Disadvantages of the above-mentioned prior art besei term and a method for producing a mold for the injection molding of a lens for single lens glasses with two optical axes.

Fig. 7, the aforementioned schematic cross-sectional view of a conventional mold for the produc- tion of a lens of single lens glasses with egg ner single optical axis.
In the flowchart of Fig. 1, a method for the produc- tion of a mold for a lens of a single lens glasses with two optical axes is shown.
A first step is the preparation of two conventional convex casting molds 2 for producing lenses for glasses with a single optical axis.
As shown in Fig. 2, a second step is to determine an upper point 31 for the intersection of the optical axis 21 of one of the conventional convex molds 2 and to rotate this mold 2 relative to the conventional concave mold 3 so that the optical axis 21 runs through the selected left end point 31 on the concave mold 3 , the rotational distance being half the distance between the pupil centers of the two eyes of a person. Subsequently, the unnecessary sections, which are shown as unshaded areas, are cut off in order to obtain the section 22 which is marked with hatching. The section 22 then becomes the left half section of a new convex casting mold 5 with an optical axis 21 which runs through a point 31 .
As shown in Fig. 3, a third step is to determine an upper point 32 through which the optical axis 41 of the other convex mold 2 passes and to rotate this mold 2 so that the optical axis 41 through the selected one right end point 32 of the concave mold 3 runs, wherein the rotation distance corresponds to half the distance between the pupil centers of the two eyes of a person. As in the previous step, the unnecessary sections, which are shown as unshaded areas, are cut off in order to obtain the section 42 marked with hatching. The section 42 becomes the right half section of the new convex mold 5 with an optical axis 41 which runs through a point 41 .
As shown in Fig. 4, the fourth step is to produce a new convex mold 5 by firmly joining the two convex half molds 22 and 42 made in the second and third steps by means of a suitable device. This new convex mold 5 is used in conjunction with the conventional concave mold 3 , plastic being injected into a narrow space between the molds 3 and 5 to form a lens of a single lens with a smooth surface and with two optical surfaces Generate axes.
Although preferred embodiments of the invention above have been described, it is clear that ver various modifications can be made, whereby the attached claim all such modifications, which in fall within the spirit and scope of the invention should.
