Das Verfahren besteht darin, daß man 1 kg amorphen Phosphors mit ungefähr 550 g Kaliumchlorat, 800 g Bleisuperoxyd und ungefähr 600 g Kreide in feinster Pulverform mit einer Lösung von Gummiarabikum, Dextrin oder Leim oder Tragantgummi in kaltem oder warmem Wasser zu einem flüssigen Brei vermischt. Die Substanzen werden durch andauerndes Rühren zu einer vollkommen homogenen Masse vermengt, welche dann in beliebiger Weise, beispielsweise mit Hilfe von Walzen, auf Bänder oder Papierstreifen aufgetragen werden kann.
