Abstract

The movement of dancers on a dance floor 1 is observed and recorded by the positioning of CCD cameras above the dance floor. The cameras allow a three dimensional monitoring of the dance movements. Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Steuerung die während Tanzveranstaltungen eingesetzt werden soll. Sie dient dazu, Videoinstallationen und/oder Musikanlagen in Abhängigkeit von der Position und/oder der Bewegung der Teilnehmer zu steuern. Die Steuerung erfolgt dabei derart, daß zunächst Bilder einer oder mehrerer Personen auf der Tanzfläche (1) von CCD-Kameras (2) aufgenommen werden. Diese Bilder werden dann zur Bildauswertung (3) verwendet. Dies kann mittels eines Rechners (30) erfolgen, der über Bildaquisitionshardware (31) verfügt, wie sie z. B. von den Firmen Eltec und Stemmer (geschützte Firmennamen) vertrieben wird.The invention relates to a controller that is to be used during dance events.
