Abstract

A device for manually spooling round stranded glass fibre cable, both sleeved and unsleeved, with diameter up to 4.5mm, uses an outer two-part plastic housing and a inner plastic two-part housing on rollers. The latter is to accommodate the fibre in turns around its inner periphery. There is a central circular space for accessories. The outer housing has at the centre, a round sealed space which is accessible through a plastic lid. The two parts of the outer housing and the inner housing are joined by screws. The outer housing has a moulded handle screwed onto both halves of it. The screws for the outer housing carry the rollers.

Description

The device and the method are in the scope Cable pulling technology and laying technology in the field of activity Energy and communication cabling (installation) nen.

Glass fiber profiles have so far only been used in complex manual procedures on or in cable drums from to rolled up to a maximum of 50 meters and a maximum of 3 mm or moved in.

Reference is made here to the manual development variant "Kati-Blitz" patented by the German Patent Office of Mr. Werner Cielker / Katimex Cielker GmbH, Emil-Hoffmann-Str. 9, 50996 Cologne, and therefore given as an example. With the previous application possibilities, the problem arises that the desired line length of the initial profile first has to be unrolled manually from the cable drum in a time-consuming manner and then has to be inserted manually into the pipe system to be processed. After performing the desired activity, the starting profile must be manually pushed back into or into the cable drum. With distances of up to 50 meters to be installed in one piece, these procedures mean considerable physical effort and expensive personnel expenditure. The protection requested by patenting includes the mechanical support of the drive variant, excluding the disadvantage of manual devices listed under point 2.3 , by means of a roller-supported belt run of the inner housing.

Reference is made here to the attached sample drawings, FIG. 1. The glass fiber profile used has a maximum diameter of 4.50 mm, covered or uncovered, is equipped with an all-round movable guide head and enables shear-resistant yet elastic handling when laying up to 60 meters.

The new mechanically driven unwinding and winding up variant if possible the comfortable and fast unwinding and rewinding of the Initial profile and insertion of the initial profile for the installer of power and communication cables in empty and low-occupied piping systems of up to 60 Meters of laying performance in one piece, this means one Performance increase of 25 percent compared to manual Devices.

The device is used as described below:
On the device is firmly gripped on the device by the handle and stopped at the open pipe system on the wall with the Bandaus outlet and entry opening at the end cable duct. The glass fiber profile can now, depending on the nature, ie depending on the pre-assignment of the piping system and the resulting force on the glass fiber ribbon, be inserted into the process by hand during unwinding. In the case of heavily pre-populated pipe systems, cable lubricant should be used in advance and the insertion should be repeated. Possibly. can now be pushed manually on the rest of the route.

At the outlet opening provided by the user in the pipe the movable guide head is now unscrewed and the thread on the glass fiber profile stands for the attachment of a commercially available cable pulling stocking Towing eye available. The cable to be laid is with the Cable pulling stocking connected. The fiber is now on the device profile with the attached cable by hand pulled and at the same time on the cable drum in the device rolls. The cable pulling stocking is now removed and the move The guide head is screwed on again. The device is stopped now ready for use again.
