Description
The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
For the transport of drinking water u. a. Cast iron or steel pipes used are provided with a cement mortar lining. Pipes that are used as cement-bound pipes such as fiber cement pipes or concrete or reinforced concrete pipes are. For soft drinking water that comes into contact with the cement mortar layer the pH values above the limit set in the Drinking Water Ordinance (TVO) increase from 9.5. One measure to prevent this is the treatment of the cement mortar carbonated lining. A calcium carbonate layer is created, which prevents the rising of the pH value above the limit of the TVO is prevented.
The problem of pH increase and the solution by carbonating the cement mortar surface in a CO₂ atmosphere is generally known. For example, it will be wrote in the lit. Neue DELIWA-Zeitschrift, issue 3/95, pages 98-101. Also the EP 0 620 597 A1 discloses such carbonation by applying the Cement mortar lined pipeline through a highly concentrated coal dioxide atmosphere. Derwent Abstr., L02, AN 82-47295E also shows that a Carbonation of fresh cement mortar in a CO₂ atmosphere under excess pressure Brings advantages.
The desired goal can be achieved in this way. In the general literature is called It also on this subject that the moisture content should not be below 50% and not above 70% should be, since optimal results can be achieved in this area.
The invention is based on the object, the known carbonation of tubes accelerate with a cement mortar lining or from a cement mortar composite and intensify.
The method according to the invention consists in the application of what is claimed in claim 1 measures.
Attention is paid to a cement mortar lining, the moisture content of which is below bends the 50% to 70% mentioned in the literature. That also means that a required Water pressure test not before, but only after the carbonation process is carried out. Excessive moisture in the cement mortar would namely Prevent carbonation in a timely manner. According to the invention The process is initiated humidified CO₂ gas and through an open pressure reducing valve kept permanently at a pressure between 2 and 4 bar. This humidification is for Setting a favorable moisture content in the pipe in the interest of a quick one Carbonation is important. It is advisable to start with a vacuum in the pipe to remove air and / or moisture to a large extent. That has turned out to be another Measure to shorten the duration of the procedure is highlighted, because in this way the pores of the cement mortar are cleared of air and water.
The essence of the invention is thus that the method largely expires dry cement mortar and that the required moisture with the CO₂ gas is fed. This leads to the desired acceleration and intensification of the Carbonation process. Because of the opening of the pores in the cement mortar as a result of previous suction of the air from the pipe, which by grinding to remove the mud and fine grain surface can still be supported, even the Depth of carbonation increased.
The CO₂ gas can be humidified in a known manner in a humidifier, in which the CO₂ gas penetrates a water bath. The CO₂ concentration in the pipe should set to at least 91%. A gas quantity consumption meter does not only the amount of CO₂ consumed during the carbonation process registered. It will in addition also based on the decreasing or suspending CO₂ consumption of the process determined and displayed. Thus, through targeted measures Acceleration and intensification achieved while monitoring the Carbonation course and completion made.
