Claims (8)

Verfahren zum Verschweißen von Folien zur Herstellung kissenförmiger Verpackungen für Lebensmittel, bei dem in einer ersten Phase ein von einer Rolle abgewickeltes Band so um einen Kern herumgelegt wird, daß die Längsränder des Bandes wenigstens teilweise aufeinanderliegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf die übereinanderliegenden Längsränder des Bandes ein Heißluftstrahl gerichtet wird, dessen Temperatur eine Erweichung, Verschmelzung und gegenseitige Durchdringung erzeugt, und daß anschließend ein Kaltluftstrahl auf die sich einander durchdringenden Schweißkanten gerichtet wird und diese dadurch zum Erstarren bringt.1.
