Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Maischund Läuterbottich, welcher infolge besonderer Beschaffenheit des in dem Bottich arbeitenden Flügels eine wesentlich schnellere und bessere Arbeit als die bisher üblichen Maischbottiche ermöglicht. Bei der neuen Maschine läuft der in dem Bottich arbeitende Flügel sowohl bei der Maischarbeit als auch beim Auflockern in derselben Richtung um, und seine Unterfläche steigt von der Angriffskante nach hinten hin an. Hierdurch wird erreicht, daß der Arbeitsflügel mit einer messerartigen Schneide angreift und infolge der Ansteigung seiner Unterfläche nach hinten das unterhalb dieser Fläche liegende Material nicht durcharbeitet, sondern ruhig liegen läßt, während die obere Treberschicht aufgelockert sowie scharf und ohne wesentlichen Widerstand durchgearbeitet wird.
