Abstract
Description
Position HX 2 metal plate with reduced electromagnetic reflection Because the subject of the invention is a metal plate, preferably made of iron or its alloy, which is made by applying a layer with the property of electromagnetic e to absorb waves and reflect very little, a diminished reflection electromagnetic waves. The plate is used in the form of an outer cladding Motor vehicles, armored vehicles, ships, airplanes and other metallic objects to protect against location with electromagnetic waves, especially radar beams. This is not yet technically possible because there are no absorbents, which can be used universally and easily. There was therefore a need to to develop a simple absorber for electromagnetic waves, which in simple Way allows the absorption of electromagnetic waves.
According to the invention, an iron plate is now used on one or both sides provided with the absorption layer. The absorption layer consists of a polyester fiber fabric, before applying it to the steel plate with an aqueous soot disoersion Addition of. some adhesive based on polyvinyl chloride by dipping, squeezing off and drying at 120 to 150 ° C. This absorbent fabric will glued to the metal surface using a solvent-based polyurethane adhesive.
This composite body made of metal and fabric from the fabric side for example with electromagnetic waves from the centimeter wave range irradiated, only about 50% of the incident waves are reflected. Next to the absorption of radar rays, the absorption layer is also able to detect X-ray and absorb infrared rays. The areas of application of this new composite body are clearly on the military-strategic sector For example, there is camouflage with the help of the absorption layer of armored cars, automobiles and armored personnel the user a great advantage over his enemy, since he is familiar with the usual Tracking devices can no longer be made out, the land vehicles stick naturally great interest in making some of the ships invisible to radar, with the additional infrared absorption of the absorption layer represents a further advantage, because it also switches off the tracking devices that work with infrared. The one with this Composite-equipped ships can therefore travel far, preferably at night Venture into unknown or hostile waters without risking the common tracking devices to be tracked down. btrategically seems much more important nor the application of the metal plate with absorption layer in the field of aviation to be. For example, if you laugh at fighter planes invisible to radar, you can you can fly over enemy territory undisturbed without being noticed. In this way you can - completely switch off the opposing locating points, so that it can subsequently also be used with undisguised persons.
The composite body described here with reduced reflection of electromagnetic Waves that have not yet been described anywhere represent such a technical one That is an innovation of great strategic importance for you protection is sought.
