Gipsform für Lagerschalen.Plaster mold for bearing shells.
Die neue Gufsform, welche aus Gufseisen bestehen kann, soll jeden Landwirth und Maschinenbesitzer in den Stand setzen, sich seine Maschinenlagerschalen auf billige Art selbst herzustellen. Als Material kommt am besten Weifsmetall in Anwendung. Die Gufsform, Fig. 1, besteht aus der Platte a, den Seitenstücken b b, den Deckelstücken c c mit trichterförmigen Löchern k k zum Eingiefsen, dem Cylinder e mit den Schlufsstücken d d. Die letzteren haben die gleiche Höhe der Seitenstücke b b und einen von den Enden gleich weit entfernten, halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt von gleicher Gröfse.The new casting mold, which can be made of cast iron, should enable every farmer and machine owner to manufacture his own machine bearing shells cheaply. Man stellt nun die Form, wie Fig. 3A und 3B zeigen, zusammen und giefst bei H ein. Nach dem Erstarren des eingegossenen Lagermetalles nimmt man die Formtheile ab und erhält so die fertige Lagerschale. Man kann demnach Lagerschalen zu Zapfen von beliebiger Länge und Stärke genau passend mit dieser Form giefsen und Lagerschalen gleicher Gröfse in beliebig vielen Abgüssen auf leichteste Art herstellen.The cylinder is turned off and turned in at a right angle at ff so far that the turned pins fit exactly into the semicircular cutouts dd.
