Die letzteren Messer dienen als Abstreifer und können innerhalb oder außerhalb der umlaufenden schraubenlijiienförmigen Messerbänder angeordnet sein. Mit dem Schneidkopf der Erfindung lassen sich bei Schilfgras und auch bei sonstigem verwurzeltem Kraut Gassen bzw. Schneisen in den Bewuchs einschneiden. Das Abtrennen erfolgt zuverlässig.
