Auf beiliegender Zeichnung stellt α den mit dem Stiel a' versehenen Knopf dar. Dieser Stiel sitzt mit einem Ende in dem Knopf vollständig fest und trägt an seinem anderen Ende eine ringförmige Vertiefung, wodurch an dem Stiel ein Absatz gebildet wird, gegen welchen sich nach dem Durchstecken des Stieles durch den Stoff die Scheibe b mit ihrem auf den Durchmesser genannter Vertiefung passenden centralen runden Ausschnitt legt. Unmittelbar hinter diesem Absatz, mehr nach dem Ende des Stieles hin, schliefst sich eine ringförmige Auskehlung an, wodurch ein an seiner Oberfläche passend abgerundeter Kopf a" gebildet wird, in welchem der Stiel an der dem Knopf« abgewendeten Seite endet. Die auf den Stiel gebrachte Scheibe b ist auf ihrer mittleren Partie, rings um ihre Oeffnung herum, der Dicke der Vorsteckscheibe c entsprechend durchgedrückt, so dafs sie dadurch an ihrer Aufsenseite eine kreisrunde Versenkung zeigt, in welche die mit ihrem Einschnitte über die erwähnte ringförmige Auskehlung und unter dem Kopf a" durchgeschobene Vorsteckscheibe c sich einlegen kann; dadurch wird nach der Befestigung des Knopfes ein Herausfallen aus der Versenkung der Scheibe unmöglich. Der genannte Einschnitt der Vorsteckscheibe c entspricht in seiner Weite dem Durchmesser der Kehlung und erstreckt sich von einer Seite her bis etwas über die Mitte des Vorsteckers derart, dafs, wenn dieser vollständig in der Versenkung der Scheibe b liegt und den Kopf a" erfafst hält, so dafs eine feste Verbindung des Knopfes mit dem betreffenden Stoffe hergestellt ist, das ausgerundete innere Ende des Einschnittes sich an die Kehlung unter dem Kopf a" anlegt, wie Fig. 2 zeigt. Dadurch erhält dieser Kopf eine solide Auflage auf der in der Versenkung der Unterlagscheibe b ebenfalls äufserst sicher liegenden Vorsteckscheibe c. Wegen der festen gegenseitigen Auflage sämmtlicher Theile des Knopfes ist eine Lockerung der Verbindung vollständig ausgeschlossen und es kann ein Lösen derselben nur durch Herausschieben der Vorsteckscheibe aus der Versenkung der Unterlagscheibe b geschehen, wozu erforderlich ist, dafs man das mit einem kleinen Vorsprunge c' versehene Ende der Vorsteckscheibe etwa mit einer Messerspitze hochbiegt und gleichzeitig von dem entgegengesetzten Ende her die Vorsteckscheibe stark andrückt.In the accompanying drawing, α represents the button provided with the handle a ' .
