Durch Anfertigung des Ständers aus rostfreiem Material entfällt nicht nur der Lötvorgang sondern auch eine nacihfolgende galvanische Veredelung; wenn man bei dem alten Ständer von dem Äusgangsmaterial Messing oder Alpaka ausgeht, so ist eine nachfolgende Verchromung oder Versilberung in jedem Falle notwendig.
