Es ist ßllgemein bekannt, daß .biegsame Kabel, Drähte -und Ähnliches für den Transport -und der Lagerhaltung, sobald es sich um größere Längen handelt, auf sogenannte- Trommeln aufgebracht sind. Diese Trommeln sind meistens aus Holz gefertigt und sehr schwer gebaut, damit auch schwerste Kabel aufgebracht werden können. Die in letzter Zeit immer mehr zur Verwendung gelangenden Kunststoffrohre unterliegen der gleichen Behandlung beim Transport und der lagerung wie oben beschrieben. Der Umstand, daß diese Kunststoffrohre sehr leicht sind und eine bestimmte- Steifheit besitzen macht es aber möglich die Rohre in gewickelten Bunde ohne Trommeln zu transportieren. Diese Bunde sind zum Schutz gegen Beschädigung mit Papier umwickelt. Bis hierher ist der vorsichtigen Behandlung solcher Rohre genüge getan. Wird aber nun so ein eingewickelter Bohrirund von seiner Umwicklung befreit um die notwendigen Rohrlängen abzuschneiden, so beginnt eine unschöne Arbeit, bei der das Bohr verschiedener Beschädigungen ausgesetzt ist« Diese Arbeit kann von einer Person nicht mehr geschafft werden, denn das Rohr wird sich, wenn es seiner Bandage entledigt ist, infolge seiner Spannung auseinanderrollen.
