Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Espagnoletten- oder Drehstangen-Verschluß für Fenster, Türen u. dgl. Derselbe unterscheidet sich von den bekannten derartigen Ver-Schlüssen dadurch, daß das Ruder nicht in einem Schließhaken eingeklemmt wird. An der Drehstange α ist drehbar das Ruder e befestigt, an welchem ein gezackter Zapfen/ angeordnet ist. In dem anderen Fensterflügel ist eine Aussparung h vorgesehen, über welcher ein Schließblech g mit einem Schlitz g¹ angebracht ist. Über dieses Schließblech greift der durch den Schlitz eingeführte Zackenzapfen, wodurch das Fenster in zweifacher Weise geschlossen gehalten wird, einmal durch die in die Schließbleche d eingreifenden Haken c und andererseits durch den in das Schließblech g eingreifenden Zackenzapfen f. Ist das Fenster stark gequollen, so legt man den Zackenzapf en f mit dem ersten Einschnitt in das Schließblech g. Will man den Verschluß strammer anziehen, so läßt man den Zackenzapfen mit einem der nächsten Einschnitte bis zum letzten über das Schließblech greifen.
