Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von Geweben, bestehend aus Dampfheizplatten gemäß Patent 180140, und zwar in einer solchen Anordnung, daß eine höhere Temperatur der durch dieselbe erwärmten Trockenluft erzielt oder die Erwärmung einer größeren Luftmenge in kürzerer Zeit ermöglicht wird. Es werden zu diesem Zweck mehrere solche Dampfheizplatten gemäß Patent 180140 hintereinander geschaltet, und zwar derart, daß ~ dieselben durch einen den Luftstrom zusammenhaltenden Mantel in Abständen in paralleler Lage gehalten werden, so daß die Luft, von einer Seite des Mantels in diesen eingeführt, die Durchbrechungen sämtlicher Platten in ihrer Reihenfolge durchziehen muß, um entsprechend erhitzt an der anderen Seite den Mantel zu verlassen und auf die hier vorbeigeführte Gewebebahn zu stoßen und ■ diese zu durchziehen.The subject of the present invention is a device for drying Fabrics, consisting of steam heating plates according to patent 180140, in such a way Arrangement that achieves a higher temperature of the dry air heated by the same or the heating of a larger amount of air is made possible in a shorter time. Wie Fig. 3 zeigt, können die Durchbrechungen der Platte auch schräg zu deren Fläche liegen, wodurch die Luft beim Durchziehen derselben besser gegen die Flächen der Dampfheizplatten stößt, an diesen langer aufgehalten wird und sich in erhöhtem Maße erhitzen kann.
