Secret ears sind bekannte als Zubehörteile zu Schwerhorigen-Eor"
geräten, insbesondere elektro-akustischen Geräten, beispielsweise einer Hörbrille
oder einem Hinterohrhörgerät, wobei das secret ear von dem Schwerhörigen im Ohr
getragen wird und zur Übertragung der im Hörgerät erzeugten Schallwellen in den
Gehörgang dient. Dabei besteht das secret ear aus einem Gehörgangteil, das in den
Gehörgang eingeführt wird und einen Schall-Leitkanal enthält, auf das ein dünner,
die Schallwellen leitender Schlauch aufgesteckt wird. Weiterhin ist das secret ear
mit einem Bügel versehen, der in die innere Rundung der Ohrmuschel eingesetzt wird
und dazu dient, das secret ear, fest im Ohr zu halten und ein gutes Anliegen im
Gehörgang zu siethern. Liegt das secret ear am Eingang zum Gehörgang nur mangelhaft
an, entstehen nämlich induktiv Schwingungen, die ein stark störendes Pfeifgeräusch
