von Rufzeichen, Sprechverbindung und Unterhaltungsauswahl
Es ist üblich, in modernen Krankenhäusern in der Nähe der Betten
der Patienten an der Wand Bedienungstableaus anzubringen, worauf
sich verschiedene Tasten befinden und womit die Kranken im
Bedarfs-
fall eine Schwester herbei rufen können. Ebenfalls befinden
sich auf
Wandtableaus Steckvorrichtungen für Anschlüsse von Lautsprechern
und
Klingeltasten, für den Fall, daß der Kranke an sein Bett gebunden
ist.
Mit den Lautsprechern kann dann wunschgemäß ein Radioprogramm
abgehört
werden zur Unterhaltung. Aber auch der Wahlschalter dieser
Programme
befindet sich üblicherweise auf einem Wandtableau. Neuerdings
sind
auch noch Sprechanlagen eingeführt worden, wobei die Lautsprecher-Mik-
rofone, welche für die Sprechverbindung nötig sind, ebenfalls
an ein
Wandtableau angesteckt werden können.
Bei einer modernen Einrichtung sind deshalb-an einem Krankenbett
viele
Schnüre vorhanden und hindern die Schwester bei Pflege und
Bedienung
des Patienten. Die Schwester muß dann meistens erst alle Schnüre
ent-
fernen, bevor sie ein Bett herrichten kann, und ebenfalls hat
der Kran-
ke Last beim Verlassen des Bettes.
Hier tritt nun vorliegende Neuerung in Tätigkeit, wobei diese
Behin-
derungen aufgehoben werden. Dabei gestattet die neue Ausführung
eine
noch intensivere elektro-akustische Betreuung des Kranken und
dadurch
eine wirksame Hilfe des Heilungsprozesses. Außerdem werden
die Schwe-
intern entlastet und sind durch die neue Einrichtung vieler
Wege ent-
hoben-
Die neue Einrichtung besteht aus einem beweglichen Schaltkästchen,
wo-
rauf sich sämtliche Taster befinden sowie ein Lautsprecher
und die not-
wendigen Wahlschalter.

Das Kästchen selbst ist starr mit einem Stahlrohr verbunden
von
einer entsprechenden Länge, und das Stahlrohr hat ein Drehgelenk
.'zur Befestigung an der Wand.
Sämtliche notwendigen Schnüre werden durch das Stahlrohr geführt.
Die Schwester oder der Kranke kann infolgedessen nunmehr mit
einer
einzigen Bewegung das Schaltkästchen aus dem hinderlichen Bereich
wegklappen und sobald es nötig ist, wieder in horizontale Lage
be-
wegen.
Das Stahlrohr selbst hat vorzugsweise noch eine leicht gebogene
Form,
sodaß der Kranke auch in liegendem Zustand auf die Bedienungsplatte
des Schaltkästchens schauen kann. Durch diese Nähe des Kästchens
zum
Patienten wird auch eine Sprechverbindung über das eingebaute
Laut-
sprecher-Mikrofon günstig beeinflußt, denn es kann das Gespräch
sehr
leise aber doch verständlich geführt werden, währenddessen
andere
pa'dienten in benachbarten Betten von einem geführten Gespräch
keine
Hinderung unterfinden.
Das Schaltkåstchen selbst kann noch mit einem Beleuchtungsschalter
ver-
sehen werden, währenddessen auch eine kleine Leselampe anmontiert
sein
kann.
Neuerdings wünscht man auch, den Zustand eines Patienten von
einer Zen-
trale zu überwachen. Hierzu bietet die vorliegende Neuerung
die günstig-
