So werden u. a.
gegen-
einanderliegen und durch Eingreifen der Klettenhäkchen des
Klettenbandes in
Elastizität, was
Daumen-Symbol an-
zeigt. To carry out intravenous injections, an artificial blood congestion is created at this point on the upper arm or the like to push the hollow needle of the injection syringe into the vein. This is done by constricting the arm above the puncture site. A number of means are already known for this. For example, belt straps with metal buckles, rubber or plastic tubes with and without clamps or clamps are used to achieve the desired blood stasis for inserting the needle. In most cases, the previously known constricting devices can only be used without the risk of complications if an assistant is available to open the clamp, clasp or buckle closure of the constricting device after the needle has been inserted into the vein. If, on the other hand, a rubber or plastic hose without a clamp is used, with the two ends having to be entwined and held with one another after the hose around the arm has been tightened, an assistant is necessary for this anyway. However, if the injection is to be carried out by only one person, buckles, clips, or clips for the constricting device are essential. If the needle is inserted into the vein, the clamp or the like must be released with one hand while the other hand holds the injection syringe. When loosening the known clamps, clamps or the like, however, small vibrations occur which are often painful for the treated patient and propagate to the injection needle located in the vein. It also happens that the needle is unwillingly lately the vein punctures completely, causing the patient considerable and prolonged exposure
Can cause persistent pain over time. In the case of an injection without an assistant to loosen the clamp or clamp, it therefore largely depends on the skill of the person performing the injection with the known constricting devices that the various manipulations to be performed at the same time, vibration Avoid penetration and puncture of the vein.
/ j
To prevent the above disadvantages, the invention provides a tourniquet, the closure of which can be loosened completely without vibration by the person performing the injection after the needle has been inserted into the vein. This is made possible by the fact that on the front and back of a non-elastic textile or plastic tape the two parts of a known so-called Velcro ten closure are arranged offset from one another in such a way that this when
Loop around. of the band around an arm or the like with their surfaces opposite
lying on top of each other and by engaging the Velcro hooks of the Velcro tape in
the small hairs of the woolen ribbon fasten the stamina without any further
cause additional handling. To release the lock and at the same time
the stamina is simply swung or thrown the free end of the bandage hanging down on one side of the arm over the arm to the other side of the arm. Tl. Is torn open by the weight of the falling bandage end. If the opening is not complete, gently tugging the hanging tape can help without causing vibrations or having to pay more attention to the closure instead of the injection needle. After releasing the fastener, the bandage falls from the arm or remains loosely wrapped around it. Since the Velcro and wool tape of the Velcro fastener covers a longer stretch of the non-elastic band of the stamina, both parts of the Velcro fastener come into opposition and engage when extremely thin or extremely thick arms or even thighs are to be tied off. The closure of the tourniquet is steplessly variable due to the inventive arrangement of a Velcro fastener and, without additional hand movements, is effected by looping the tourniquet tightly around the arm or the like. According to a further embodiment of the invention, an elastic band (rubber or stretchable plastic band) is interposed at a suitable location (or at several locations) on the non-elastic band. As a result, the rigidity of the storage bandage, which is initially required because of the attached Velcro straps, is given elongation capacity or elasticity in the longitudinal direction, which during and after the folding of the stamina a better tightening of the same and
thus causes stasis of the blood. The elastic band is expedient
placed near the end of the tie, which is first when looping around
is placed on the arm.
In a further embodiment of the invention, this is done when looping around
the end of the bandage to be placed on the arm first from the adhesive strips of the Velcro
so that at this point the bandage can be pressed firmly against the patient's arm to be bandaged with the thumb of one hand and held while the other hand pulls the bandage tightly around the arm. carries around. Notes or a thumb symbol can be attached to this end of the tape.

Finally, the invention makes it easier to use the stamina in that the front and back of the strap parts are of different colors that are easily distinguishable at first glance, and the strap end to be placed on the arm from the end to be looped around the arm at first glance can be distinguished by different shapes. With regard to the Velcro fastener, only a certain end of the bandage may first be placed on the arm and a certain side of the bandage must face the arm, these optical measures prevent any mix-up of the sides or ends when the stamina is turned over. The stamina according to the invention can consist of (textile) webbing in its rigid strap parts and of flat rubber braid in its elastic strap part. the various parts of the strap are connected to one another by a stitching seam or the like.

c expands as much as possible. If the bandage is wrapped around the arm with its full length in this way, the two adhesive strips d, e of the Velcro fastener lie with their entire length or at least part of their length - depending on the strength of the arm - pressed against each other by the tightening of the bandage, and the closure is brought about by the adhesion of the hooks and hairs to one another. As Fig. 4 shows, when the bandage is pulled down, the end of the bandage is at g and hangs freely from the arm. To open the tourniquet, it is thrown upwards in the direction of arrow h and then falls down again on the other side of the arm from i to 1, solely in the direction of arrow k. Due to the weight of the tape, the closure d, e tears completely or z. Tl. On. To increase the effectiveness of this process, a small weight can be incorporated at the end of the bandage.
