Dadurch besteht die Möglichkeit, den durchweg aus Kunststoff bestehenden Werkstoff des Blumenübertopfes so dünnwandig auszubilden, wie es nach den verbleibenden Beanspruchungen möglich ist. Durch die Umbördelung und durch die steife Einlage ist der obere Rand jedenfalls so verfestigt, daß Formänderungen des Blumenübertopfes nicht mehr einzutreten vermögen. Die Einlage gibt die Möglichkeit, sie als zur Aufhängung des Blumenübertopfes dienendes, tragendes Element, beispielsweise mittels nach oben oder seitlich ausgebogener Ösen, auszubilden. Ordnet man dabei schlitzartige Ausnehmungen in der Umbördelung, durch die die Ösen nach oben oder seitlich, über den Übertopf ausladend, durchgeführt sind, so kann die Versteifungseinlage jederzeit wieder aus dem Blumenübertopf entfernt und dieser leicht gereinigt werden. Das wird noch dadurch begünstigt, daß die inneren Begrenzungsflächen des Blumenübertopfes glatt, insbesondere als geschlossene Kegelstumpfmantelfläche, ausgeführt sind. Das unterscheidet die neuerungsgemäß ausgebildete ausführungsform eines derartigen Blumenübertopfes vorteilhaft von der bekannten Ausbildung, bei der man versucht hat, durch Nachbildung von Geflechten, etwa eines Bastgeflechtes, den Eindruck zu erwecken, als ob ein derartiger, aus Kunststoff bestehender Übertopf aus geflochtenem Bastband oder dergl. besteht. Dadurch ergeben sich nämlich auch innere, unregelmäßig gestaltete BegrenzungsfLächen des Blumenübertopfes, die außerordentlich schwer zu reinigen sind, da es bei der Pflege der Blumen unvermeidlich ist, daß Erde aus dem Blumentopf weggespült wird und in die Nischen und unzugänglichen Zwickel des Flechtwerkes gerät. Trägt die innere Begrenzungsfläche des unteren Abschlusses des Blumenübertopfes Vorsprünge, zweckmäßig in Form zueinander konzentrischerRingstücke, die von radial verlaufenden Rippen gekreuzt sein können, so ermöglicht das einen Luftaustausch zwischen Blumentopfboden und Atmosphäre, da das eine Voraussetzung für das Gedeihen im Blumentopf untergebrachter Pflanzen ist.
