Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum schraubenförmigen Wickeln eines nahtgeschweißten Hohlkörpers, z. B. eines Rohres, aus einem Band, das stetig gegen eine konkav gekrümmte Fläche eines Formwerkzeuges unter einem der Bandbreite und den Durchmesser des herzustellenden Hohlkörpers entsprechenden Winkel zur theoretischen Wickelachse vorgeschoben wird, wobei der Winkel zwischen der Zuführrichtung des Bandes und der Verbindungslinie der Krümmungsmittelpunkte der Fläche durch Verschwenken des Formwerkzeuges um eine auf der Zuführebene des Bandes senkrechtstehende Achse änderbar ist. Vorrichtungen dieser Art sind bekannt. Bewährt haben sich die Vorrichtungen dieser Art bei denen als Formwerkzeug ein offenes Formwerkzeug liegt, dessen Krümmungsradius größer ist als der Krümmungsradius des herzustellenden Hohlkörpers wobei die Mündung des etwa tangential auf das Formwerkzeug zulaufenden Einführungskanals für das Band so angeordnet ist, daß die Richtung, die das in das Werkzeug einlaufende und auf dieses auftreffende Band nach Verlassen des Einführungskanals einschlägt, mit der Tangente an die Innenwandfläche des Formwerkzeuges einen spitzen Winkel bildet. 49Trigmp » iseheu itt tut *ia* ; r Dr*b » Ohvi'b* 0, Orx- w ?
