Description

Process for the production of pure white calcium carbonate iIt is known to make alkaline earth carbonates by precipitation with carbon dioxide from such Lauagen mimics whiter Paint using - reducing agents, like H2 S or hydrazine, which are used as iunrei'iniigu @ ngen iron or sulfur preventions included (cf. rd'ie USA.-Patentsclirift I 994 271 and the French patent specification 622 486). It was found that d-aß M use of Caustic solutions or slurries of Cailcium hydroxyd, the essential mine to: Maniganver- contain bonds, only then a white calcium caribom, at to get, iisit, falllis die: precipitation by Carbon dioxide in the presence of hydrazine or Hydroxylamine is carried out. The discoloration that occurs is due to the fact that it is in -the reduction and. the simultaneous car bonus: formation of white manganese carbonate. It but can: also the connections of the two- # verti- gen Manganis to a greater or lesser extent for the most part go into solution, so that the calcium carbonate ate the teniniuing of liquidity and low impact @diie soluble manganese compounds are removed and so, a more or less consecrated discovery maniganunng takes place. Advantageously, the re- reducing agents towards the end; set, i.e. if practically everything Hydmat is in bonat is transferred and the! ie- vor @ heir dluirch. solved Hydrate, alikalieche solution neutral, yes sdhil: iess @ liieh weak carbonic acid wmrd. Dias Ver'fiahren enables the production of Ouaaütätsemzeuänrüsem from raw materials which: in Germany available on a large scale stand, twiie z. B. the limestones from the Lahn on the other hand, the piraktüsch always manganese in larger sizes Quantities contain, and: sitdllt, therefore a considerable tedhniisdhem ilnid wiritselhaftlichen Foir-tsdhriitt, diax.
