Description

Drä ,,,, e ,, r ,, k ,, Draer Lbeck, Moisliner Allee / 55 Sekz-et & bo§Me nrichlMg. as a savior . lo In the case of unconscious or seemingly dead people, it is of of vital importance that of the revival The helper made every effort to clear the victim's airway, which has been blocked by mucus, blood or water, as quickly as possible. Large electrically operated suction pumps have been used in the clinic for such purposes. For first aid in rescue vehicles, the suction power of the vehicle engine is used for this purpose. Suction pumps operated by the foot are also known. The surgical suction devices and the suction devices tied to a vehicle are hardly suitable for the very first aid. On the other hand, the suction pump operated by the puss is also used by the first helpers.

The disadvantage of these foot operated suction pumps consists in that the operation of these pumps by a helper who looks after the on the Casualty lying on the ground trying hard, is almost impossible.

Die Zeichnung zeigt eine Ausführungsform der Neuerung..The innovation concerns a secretion suction device for rescue purposes for suctioning off secretions, blood or water from the respiratory tract of casualties from a secretion collection vessel made of glass or plastic and one attached to it Suction catheter. The innovation consists in the fact that the known secretion collection vessel is provided with a nozzle on which a preferably made of rubber or plastic Mouthpiece is attached. The mouthpiece is equipped with a shield that goes through the lips and teeth of the helper are held. The helper holds the secretion suction device in this way through the mouth and generated with the cheek muscles in the secretion suction device a negative pressure that draws the secretion from the victim's airways through a catheter sucked into the collecting glass. This innovation ensures that the one on the ground kneeling helper bent over the head of the casualty with the help of this suction device the secretion can suck off, whereby he neither to hold the suction device a his hands are still needed to generate the negative pressure hand or puss. The drawing shows an embodiment of the innovation ..

On one side of a secretion collection vessel 1 is a secretion suction catheter 2 attached. A mouthpiece 4 made of rubber or plastic is attached to a nozzle 3, which has a shield 5.
