Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine sich selbsttätig einstellende Tierfalle, bei welcher das Tier durch Zurückdrücken einer Klappe die Wippe zum Kippen bringt. Von bekannten Fallen dieser Art unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch, daß eine im Einlauf seitlich angeordnete, mittels einer Nase unter die Wippe greifende Klappe in Verbindung mit einer Seitenwand den Einlauf derart nach hinten verengt, daß das vordringende Tier die Klappe zurückdrücken muß, wodurch die Wippe ihren Halt verliert und mit dem darauf befindlichen Tier nach unten kippt.The subject of the invention is a self-adjusting animal trap in which the animal causes the seesaw to tip over by pushing back a flap. In diesem Einlauf befindet sich die durch ein Gegengewicht in wagerechter Lage gehaltene und nach unten kippende Wippe e, welche nach oben durch einen Anschlag h begrenzt und mit einer Seitenwand / versehen ist. Am Ende des Einlaufe ist ein Behälter d für den Köder vorgesehen, weleher durch Vorschieben des Deckels c zum Fallen geöffnet wird. Seitlich der Wippe ist eine gegen die Wippe schwingende drehbare Klappe g angebracht, welche mittels einer Nase i unter die Wippe greift und durch einen Anschlag k in ihrer Bewegung begrenzt wird. Die Seitenwand / und die Klappe g sind so angeordnet, daß sie den Einlauf nach hinten derart verengen, daß das Tier bei seinem Vordringen schließlich die Klappe g beiseite drückt. Die Folge davon ist, daß die auf der Nase i der Klappe aufsitzende Wippe ihren Stützpunkt verliert und mit dem Tier nach unten kippt, wodurch letzteres in den Sammelbehälter geschleudert wird.The drawing shows:
