Auch können die in der aufgesetzten Platte eingreifenden Schrauben leicht ausreißen. Bei Holzspanplatten haben sie keinen ausreichenden Halt. Die statt Schrauben verwendeten Beschläge sind meist an den Innenseiten der Platten angebracht und treten störend aus der Oberfläche der Platten um ein Stück heraus.
