Cooling device for liquids with trickle plates The present
The innovation relates to a cooling device for liquids with parallel side by side
arranged, spaced apart and upright standing filler plates
Asbestos cement or plastic.
Solche Kühleinrichtungen mit aufgehängten Asbest-Zementplatten sind
bekannt.
Such cooling devices with suspended asbestos-cement panels are
known. The arrangement was so made «
ensure that the trickle
or cooling plate were cooled by a countercurrent flow of cooling air,
whereby the heat and mass transfer (evaporation or evaporation) between
the air and the liquid trickling down the plates as a film - preferably
Water-according to the applicable thermo-physical laws. the
The main disadvantages of the previous design of such cooling devices were
once an uneven water film and the formation of strands on the cooling plates
and furthermore a low utilization of the height of fall of the one running down from the lower edge of the plate
Liquid in strands, as a veil or as a jet. There was another disadvantage
in that a high excess of air and thus high air velocities are necessary
were a cheap exchange actuator with an economically viable number of plates
to reach.
