Im Betriebezuatand wird das Verbindungsglied oder Ketteneohloß
durch einen nicht dargestellten Stift verspannt, der durch
die
Bohrungen 12, 13 greift.
Man erkennt besonders in den Fig. 2 bis 4, daß das Mittelstück
sowohl in der Ebene des Bügels als auch in der Ebene senkrecht
dazu symmetrisch ausgebildet ist. Perner zeigt besonders die
? ig, 2 in Verbindung mit ? ig. 3. daß im Betrieb nur der doppel-
t-förmige Teil des MittelatUckes auf den Bügelenden veraohieblich

wieaen, daß dae Verbindungeglied oder KettenaohloS durch keinen
Betriebsumstand von selbst gelöst worden kann# dagegen äußerst
leicht durch herauaaohlagen 4e8 Spannstittes sich lösen und
wieder erneut befestigen läßt. Die Gleitflächen sind nach
außen ao geschützt angeordnet, daß ein Verkleben oder Ver-
schmieren nicht zu erwarten ist, welches ihre Gleitfähigkeit
auch nach längerem Betrieb beeinträchtigen konnte, zumal die
Gleitapannung beliebig grob sein kann, da die Gleitflächen
als
solche kaum Kräfte zu Ubertragen haben. Die Zugfestigkeit dea
Verbindnngagliedea anteraoheidet sich kaum ron der der Ketten.
? Ur das neue Verbindungeglied oder KettensohloS spielt es
über-
haupt keine Rolle, welche Gestalt oder äußert Form die Ketten-
glieder haben. Sofern die Kettengleider die Form von Ösen haben,
ist eine Anpassung des Schlosses bei beliebigen Abmessungen
aBg-
lich. Bei der Verwendung auch für steglese Glieder ist das
Ver-
bindungastSok brauchbar. In diesem Fall ist nur nötig, den
Steg
des Doppel,--T-StU*ken fortzulassen und zwei Spannstifte, ent-
sprechend 129 3 in den T-Stücken 7, 8 vorzusehen.
