Docht für Petroleum-Brenner od. dsl. .. tüt PetrQ1 Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf einen Docht für Petroleum-Brenner od. dgl., ihr liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Docht zur Verfügung zu stellen, der bei der Benutzung nicht niederbrennt und sicherstellt, daß die Flamme gleichmäßig über die gesamte Länge des oberen Dochtendes brennt. In welcher Weise das Asbestgewebe mit der Baumwolle oder einem ähnlichen Gewebe verbunden wird, ist an sich gleichgültig. Bs empfiehlt sich, beide Elemente miteinander zu vernähen. Selbstverständlich kann man beide Teile auch durch Klammern od. dgl. vereinigen. Weist der Baumwoll-Docht bzw. ein aus einem anderen Material bestehender Gewebe-Docht Kreisquerschnitt auf, so kann man ihm einen aus Asbest bestehenden Topf zuordnen. Ist der Baumwoll-Docht od. dgl. streifen-oder blattartig gestaltet, so empfiehlt es sich, das Asbestgewebe streifenartig zu gestalten und längs der Mittellinie dieses Streifens U-förmig abzuwinkeln und dann diesen verformten Streifen längs seiner Längskanten mit dem Baumwoll-Docht od.dgl. zu verbinden, beispielsweise durch Klammern, Nähte od.dgl.According to the innovation, this object is achieved in that the upper end of the wick made of cotton or another fabric is covered or enveloped by an asbestos fabric.
