Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Besen, bei welchem der eigentliche Besen in einem kastenartigen Gehäuse durch Klemmung auswechselbar eingefügt ist. Der Besen besteht in der Hauptsache aus drei Teilen: einem Teil a, einer Befestigungsvorrichtung für den Besen b und dem Besen c. Der Besen c besteht aus Reisstroh oder Birkenreisern, die in flacher Form lose aneinandergefügt werden und dann durch Bindung, an dem einen Ende;'bei d durch irgend ein Bindemittel, wie z. B. Die Befestigungsvorrichtung besteht aus einer Hülse e, welche aus drei miteinander verbundenen Seitenwänden und einer zwischen den beiden Stirnwänden lose angebrachten Wand f zusammengesetzt ist. Die letztgenannte Wand ist nur einseitig an der inneren Kante mit dem Bodenblech g gelenkig verbunden und gestattet an der äußeren Kante ein federndes Niederdrücken gegen die gegenüberliegende Wand.
