Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein gewebtes Band, insbesondere Etikettenband,
das auf begrenzten Flächen zum Kleben eingerichtet ist, indem es an diesen Flächen
mit einem durch Wärme oder ein Lösungsmittel in einen klebrigen oder mehr oder weniger
flüssigen Zustand überführbaren Stoff, wie z. B. einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff
beschichtet ist. Vornehmlich betrifft die Erfindung solche gewebten Bänder, bei
denen die Beschichtung der Klebflächen durch ganz oder teilweise aus einem durch
Wärme oder ein Lösungmittel in einen klebrigen oder mehr oder weniger flüssigen
Zustand
u. berführbaren Stoff bestehende Schuß-oder Kettfäden gebildet
ist, die zusätzlich zu den Fäden des Grundgewebes des Bandes
an-
geordnet und an den Klebfläehen in das Gewebe eingetragen sind,

wie dies in den älteren Gebrauchsmustern Nrn. l 728 74 tmd

Bei den bisher bekanntgewordenen Bändern der oben erwähnten
Art
befinden sich die Klebflächen entweder aussehließlich an der
Vor-
derseite oder ausschließlich an der Rückseite daß Bandes. In ersten Falle müssen
die die Klebflächen aufweisenden Enden der durch Zerschneiden des Bandes gebildeten
Bandabschnitte oder Etiketten vor dem Ankleben an ein damit zu versehendes Wäschestück
o. dgl. nach hinten umgeschlagen werden, im zweiten Falle fällt
dieses Umschlagen fort. In beiden Fällen können die Klebflãchen
nur dazu benutzt werden, die Abschnitte eines selbst mit solehen
Flächen ausgestatteten Bandes an einer Unterlage wie eisem
Wä-

soheatück o. dgl. ankleben. Dagegen sind sie nicht dazu geeignet
zusammen mit diesen Abschnitten auch andere, Bandabshnitte
oder
Etiketten gewohnlieher Art, d. h. Abschnitte von selbst keim-e
Klebflächen aufweisenden Bändern an der Unterlage anzukleben.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde ein mit Xlebflächan
der
oben erwähnten Art ausgestattetes gewebtes Band, insbesondere
: &tikettenband so auszubilden, daß mit Hilfe der durch
Zersehnei-
den dieses Bandes gewonnenen Abschnitte oder ketten zugleich
auch solche Bandabsetmitte oder Etiketten am ashestaak oder
einer anderen Unterlage angeklebt werden kSBBen"di selbst nicht
zum Kleben eingerichtet sind. Die gestellte Aafgabe ist erin-
dungsgemäß im wesentlichen dadurch elst daJS da Band sowohl
an seiner Rückseite als aneh an seiner Vorderseite Klebflächen
aufweist$ die durch Besehichten begrenzter Flächen des B=dea

Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung besteht darin,.

ein durch Anordnmg von rückseitigen Klebfläehen zum Ankleben
an
einer Unterlage, s. B. einem Wäschestück o. dgl. eingerichtetes
Band nur au uf einem Teil seiner Breite ale Etikettenband ausge-
bildete d. h. mit eingewebten Inschriften bildliehen Darstellen-

seiner Breite durch Anordnung vorderseitigen Klbfläehn zum

kleben Ton Etiketten gewhnlicher Art ingerichtet ist. Wie ohne
weiteres ersichtliche ist Merdureh die Torteilhafte Möglichkeit
gegeben. mit einem durch Zerschneiden dieses Bandes gewonnenen
Etikettgleichzeitig ein zweites, gegebenenfalls sagar in wi
tee und ein drittes Etikett an einem Wãschestilck oder einer
an-
deren Unterlage anzukleben, auch wenn das oder die weiteren
Eti-
ketten selbst nicht mit Klebfläehen ausgestattet sind. NsR

durch Zerschneiden des Bandes in deäsge eines Etikettes ent<-
sprechende Abschnitte sog. Zwisehenbndehen die auseehlieBlich
dazudienen, an 4 ainer Unterlage wie einem Wäschestück . dgl.
zwei oder gegebenenfalls auch mehrere gewdhullche, dh. selbst
nicht zum Kleben eingerichtete Etiketten anzukleben.

Das gewebte Etikettenband 21 nach Fig. 1 und 2 ist is. r ae
einesEtikettea entsprecnden Abständen mit Klebfläehen versehen
die sich in Längsrichtung da Bandes gesehen naeh beiden Seiten
derLinien x-x erstrecken* nach denen das Band in Zinzeletiketten
zerschnitten werden soll. Dabei besteht gegenüber bereits bekannt-
ten zum Kleben eingerichteten Etikettenbgndern der wesentliche
Unterschiede daß auf beiden Seiten des Bandes Klebflächen 22
und
23 vorgesehen sind. Während die Seewärtigen Klebfläehen 22
über
die volle Bandbreite geha estrecken aieh die vorderseitigen

Klebfläohen 23 nur über einen Teil der Bandbreite, und zwar
im
Beispiel über einen in Fig. l'nd 2 ernten liegenden eil 24
der
etwas grõßer ist als die halbe Breite des Bandes. Zwischen
den
Klebflächen trägt das Band mit Hilfe eines oder euob mehrerer
Figurschüsse eingewebte Insch : riften, wie Fimennamenf Zaikenna-
men und/oder bildliche Darstellungen"wie Warenzeichen o. dgl.

Diese Namen oder Bilder nehmen aber nicht wie üblich die volle
Bandbreite in, sondern sie befinden sich lediglich auf einem

Teil, nämlich dem in Fig. 1 oberen Teil 25 der Bandbreite.
Der
untere Teil 24 bleibt dagegen fri, weil r beim Gebraueh der
durch Zerschneiden des Bandes 21 gewonnenen Etiketten zur Aufnahme
eines zweiten Etikettes gewöhnlicher AusfShrasg dient. Diese
zweiten Etiketten, deren Breite der Breite dea Teiles 24 des
: Bandes 21 entspricht. werden durch Zerschneiden des in Fig.'3
gezeigten Bandes 27 nach den Linien x-x gewonnen. Sie weisen
keine Klebflächen eine sondern tragen lediglieh Inschriften
oder
bildliehe Darstellungen, wie Firmennamen, Markennamen oder
Wa-
renzeiehen u. dgl. die wieder mittels eines oder-mehrerer Figur-
schüsseangewebt sindt
Die Klebflãchen 22 und 23 sind sämtlich durch einen ganz oder
teilweise aue einem thermoplastischen Kunststoffe wie zB* Polyamid
oderPolyvinylchlorid beatehendenSch'o gebildete der zusätz-
lich zum Grundechuß des Bandes-angeordnet ist. Dieser zusätzliche
Schuß ist lediglich auf der Ausdehnung der Slebfläehen in das
Bandgewebe eingetragen, während er zwischen diesen Flächen
auf
derRüekseite des Bandes : tlottiert. Der zusätzlit-he sohuß
ist dort,
wonur rückwärtige Kle'&flächen vorhanden sind d. h auf
dem Teil
25 der Bandbreite, so eingetragen daß er überwiegend auf der
Rückseite des Bandes antrifft wohingegen er drt we das Band
auf beiden Seiten Klebfläohen hat d. h. also auf dem Teil 24
der
Bandbreite, abwehssB einmal so eingetragen ist, daß er in der
Hauptsache auf der Rückseite auftritt. und das nächstemal so.

Schüsse vorgesehen werden.
Zur Bildung von Einzeletiketten werden sowohl das in Fig. 1
und
2 dargestellte Band als auch das Band nach Pig. 3 naoh den
Linien
x-x zerschnitten. Bei der Anbringung der Etiketten an iem W8<-
schestück o. dgl. wird in der in ? ig. 4-B veranschaulichten
Weise
Terfahren. Zunächst wird auf das in dn genannten Figuren durch
einen Ausschnitt aus einer Steinplatte 26 veranschaulichte
Wäsche-
stück ein aus dem Band 21 naeh ? ig. 1 und 2 gewonnenes Etikett
21a gelegt und dann auf den keine Beschriftung tragenden Teil
dieses Etikettes ein aus dem Band 27 nach Fig. 3 gewonnenes
Bti-
kett2 ? a. Alsdann werden die Endteile beider Etiketten aufeinan-
der und auf das Wäschestück aasgepreßt, während sie zugleich
auf
eine Temperatur erwärmt werden,'bei weleher der thersoplastisehe
Kuiststeff der die Klebfläehen 22 23 bildenden zusätzlichen
Schußfäden zum Fließen kommt. D&r flüssige Kunst : stof

Fig. 1 und 2 oberen Rand des Bandes eine an der Rückseite liegen.

Kettfäden sind beim Klebstreifen 28 so in das Bendgewebe einge-
arbeitet, daß sie überwiegend auf der Rückseite auftreten,
beim
Klebestreifen 29 dagegen so, daß sie überwiegend auf der vorde-
ren Seite auftreten. Zur Bildung der Klebstreifen 30 und 31
am
unteren Rand ist ein Teil der zusätzlichen Kettfäden (nämlioh
beispielsweise jeder erste** dritte usw.) so eingetragen* daß
er
überwiegend vorn auftritt ein andrer Teil (smlich beispiels-
weise der zweite* vierte usw.) dagegen so. daß er überwiegend
hinten auftritt. Zu dem Zwecke können die zuaätzliehen Kettfäden
in einer Art Köperbindung angeordnet werden"ähnlich wie dies
eben mit Bezug auf die zusätzlichen Sehaßfäden des Bandes nach
dem ersten Beispiel angegeben wurde.
Bei dieser A-aoführ=g werden die Etiketten abweichend vom ersten
Beispiel nicht an ihren Enden. sondern an ihren Längarändern
ge-
klebt. Beim Kleben wird im übrigen im wesentlichen in der gleiches
Weise gearbeitet wie oben mit Bezug auf das erste Beispiel
be-
schrieben.Ein aus einem Absohnitt des Bandes 21 nach Fig. 9
und
10 gebildetes Etikett 21a wird unmittelbar auf das in Fig<
11-
14 durch einen Ausschnitt 26 aus einer Stofeplatte wiedergegebene
Wäschestück o. dgl. gelegt. wahrend ein durch einen Abschnitt
es
inPig* 3 gezeigten Bandes 27 gebildetta Ftikett 27a auf den
un-
teren Teil des ersten Etikettes geklebt wrd. Alsdasn werden
durch Anwendung von Wärme und Druck das erstc Etikett 21a am

daß es keine Inschriften oder bildlichen Darstellungen trägt,
sondern als einfaohe6. ungemustertes Band auageführt Ist. Es
stelltnämlich kein eigentliches Etikettenband dar. sondern
eine
Vcrware für Zwischen-oder'Eragbändchen welche dazu dienes zwei
ihrerseits keine Klebe : tlãohen aufweisenden : Etiketten an
einem
Wäeehefxtüek o. dgl, anrukleben. Das Band 221 nach Fig. 15
und 16
ist ähnlich wie das Etikettenband nach Pig. 1 und 2 in der
Länge
der Etiketten entsprechenden Abständen auf beiden Seiten mit
Klebeflãohen 22e 23 versehen. die sih, iB-er Sängsriehtung
des
Bandes gesehen, nach beiden Sitn der inie x-x erstrecen nach
denen das Band in einzelne Zwischenbändohen zerschnitten werden
soll. Abweichend von der An&fahrnng naeh Fig* l und 2 gehen
je-
doch hier die'Klebeflächen 22 und 23 beide über die volle Band-
breite durch. Sie sind in der schon mit Bezug auf die Eig.
1 und
2 beschriebenen Weise mit Hilfe iron zusätzlich zum Gx-imdechuß
desBandes angeordneten,. ganz oder tillweise aus einem the=o-
plastischen Kunststoff bestehenden Sehußfäden gebildete die
teils
so eingetragen sind, daß sie überwiegend auf der Rückseite
des
Bandes auftreten. teils dagegen so. daß sie überwiegend auf
der
Vorderseite auftreten.
Beim Ankleben von Etiketten mit Hilfe der dureh Zerschneiden
des
Bandes 221 gewonnenen Zwischen-oder Tragbändehen wird gemäß
Fig.17 20 so verfahren das ein solches wishenbandehen 21a
unmittelbar auf das wiederum durch einen Ausschnitt 26 aus
einer
Stoffplatte veranschaulichte Wäschestük gelegt wird, während
zwei aus einem Btikettenband der in Fig. 3 gzigten gewöhnlichen
Art gewonnene Etiketten 21a und 27b. die naht hat
eheInschriften bzw. Dargtellungen tragen, auf das Tragbändchen
221agelegt werden. Alsdann wird ähnlich wie oben mit : Bezug
auf
das erste Beispiel beschrieben, der thenmplastische I&metstoff
der die Klebflächen 22 und 23 bildenden zusätzlichen SehaBfSden
zum? ließen gebrachtmit der Polge, daß der flüssige Kunststoff
in die Fasern dee WässhestSekasdes Zwisehenbändthens und der
bei-
den Etiketten eindein&t, wodurch das Zwischenbändehen und
die
beiden Etiketten aneinander und am Wäschestück angeklebt werden.
Das in Zwischen-nder Tragbändohen zu zer&chmeidende Band
221 des
AusfUhrungabe1spiela nach Fig. 15-20 kann gewUnschtenfal1s
da-
hin abgeändert werden. daß seine Klebflâchen ähnlich wie'beim
Etikettenband 21 nach Jlig. 9 und 10 die Form von lângsvarlaufen-
denStreifen haben. Bs werden daan am oberen und maleren Rand
des Bandes sowohl ein rückwärtiger als auch ein vorderzeitige-r
KlebeBtreifen rgesehen} während in der Nähe der Längsmittellinie
des Bandes lediglich ein irdrssitiger Klebestreifen angeordnet
wird. der jedoeh die doppelte Breite wie der Klebestreifen
29 in
Fig. 9 und 10 erhalt, da er zum Ankleben zweier Etiketten dienen
soll.

ßßin es nun Schußfäden wie bei dem Band nach Fig. l Tmd 2 sowie
15 und 16 oder Kettenfäden wie bei dem Band nach Fig. 9 umd
10,
sind zwecmäSig je as zwsi oder mehreren gefärbten oder miteinan-
derverzwirnten Einzelfgden zueammengesetzt"von denen ein Teil
aus einem durch Wäme in einen mehr oder weniger : tlüssigen
Zu-
standüberführbaren Werkstoff. z. B. einem thermoplastischen
Kunststoff, ein anderer Teil dagegen aus einem durch die beim
Kleben anzuwendende Wärme nicht angreifbaren a. ber gnt ssgfähi-
genPaserstofft wie z. B. Ba=wolle o. dgl. besteht.'Diese Ausfüh-
ran$ der zusätzlichen Fäden bietet den wesentlichen Vorteile
daß
die die Klebflächen aufweisenden Etiketten oder Zwischenbändchen
am Wäschestück o. dgl. auch dann sicher haften. wenn die Etiketten bzw. Zwischenbändchen
aus Kunstseide oder einem anderen wenig saugfähigen Faserstoff gewebt sind. Der
durch Wärme zum Fließen gebrachte thermoplastische Stoff dringt in jedem Falle in
die den thomoplautischen Fäden beigegebenen Fäden aus Baumwolle adel. gut ein und
bewirkt so mit Hilfe dieser Fäden, die ja in die Band-
gewebeoat eingeb=den sind"eine zuverlässige Klebeverbind-ang
der Etiketten bzw. Zwischsnbändchen mit dm Wäshestü o. dgl,.
Fernerlassen sich die mit Fäden aus Baumwolle cdgl. gefachten
oderverzwixnten Fäden aus themoplastisohen Stoff besser verwe-
ben als allein ans einem thermoplastischen Stßff bestehende
Schuß-oder Kettfädeu. We= zur Blldung der Klebtläohen ein oder
zwei zusätzliche Schußfäden benutzt werden, kannen diese Fäden
gewünaohtenfalls gleichzeitig als Figurschüsse dea Btittenban-
des dienen, indem sie auf den zwischen den Klebflächen liegenden Teilen des Bandes
zur Bildung von Inschriften, bildlichen Darstellungen o.dgl. mustergemäß in das
Bandgewebe eingetragen werden. Auf diese Weise lassen sich ein oder zwei Figurschüsse
sparen, so daß zur Herstellung des Etikettenbandes ein Webstuhl mit einfacherem
