Device for pulling cables into molded ducts For laying electrical cables, especially telecommunications cables in Stadtnatzenf are made from 1 m long cement blocks

lying cable wells are arranged. Before pulling in the cables, all cables between 2 cable wells must be checked with a caliber and cleaned with brushes. To do this, a winch is set up at a cable well and its rope is pulled through a pipe line to the next well. Here you couple the caliber, the brushes and the pulling rope to one another and pull the devices back through the pipe pull using the winch set up at the first well. 'The caliber consists of one round iron block with a diameter of approx. 95 mm and a length of approx. 30 cm
and has the task of cement pits at the joints of the
Cement blocks are created by running in liquid cement.
The brushes remove any impurities from the pulling pipe. in more recent times steel straps have also been used. The rods usually consist of parts 1 m long, which have a coupling on both sides. They are placed next to one another in the cable well, continuously lengthened in this way and pushed into the pipe section from both sides.
After the safety devices attached to each tip of the rod have hooked into one another, the pull rope connected to a winch is attached to the rod. The rod is dismantled when it is pulled back in the cable well and the rope is pulled into the pipe. When carrying out the work in this known manner, difficulties now arise, because in general a rod of more than 50 m'Lane can only be pushing it into a pipe pull with a fair amount of effort.

B< in
tropischen
In addition, the frictional resistance becomes increasingly noticeable, so that the first 20 to 30 m of the: rods no longer stay straight in the pipe when pushed forward, but are pressed against the pipe wall by the weight in front of them. This increases the friction so much that the bitumen in the shaped stones is scraped off, the linkage couplings are soiled and the friction increases further. In these cases, the workers loosen the rod again and again by pulling it back and then pushing it repeatedly into the pipe pull. It is clear that this creates a great load on the clutches, so that these ,, 0 '

Distance of 100 m from cable well to Sabel well approx. hour.
In the case of sewer lines with 15 trains, around 15 hours of working time were therefore required just to bring the pull rope into all trains.
In addition to these difficulties, there is another one Evil there. that with the known laying devices not
it can be determined whether the
certain mold channels are freri vion moisture, which has penetrated into these mold channels via leakage points at the butt joints and can no longer flow away.
feuohtigkeitsfreie Forakanäle in technisch fortschrittlicher
be
wirkten Zug entgegen der Verlegungsrichtung der elektromotori-
sehe Antrieb abgeschaltet wird. Diese Ausgestaltung wird an
all

betriebs-
fähig.
,
le
motorischen Antrieb die Prüfung von Peuchtigkeitseinschlüssen
erfolgt.

getrocknetwird.

Due to the weight of the motors and batteries in the device, sufficient normal pressure is achieved on the running surface, but it can be used. even by the fact that the rollers are arranged opposite guide rollers, which are applied to the wall of the molding channel via a spring preload and thus cause the device to be guided in a pipe run. A device equipped in this way can therefore take care of its. Rotate the longitudinal axis and still remain operational in every position able to.

For this purpose, a hygroscopic device connected to the device tightly, which sends a signal 2B in the event of water inclusions in it running down the bottom of the pipe. triggers an optical or acoustic indicator and thus issues a message about the status of the sewer system. Two metal disks provided with slip rings can be provided as a hygroscopic device for this purpose. ? which are separated from each other by a moisture-absorbing intermediate layer, for example with blotting paper soaked in salt, and lie in an electrical alarm circuit. If the device rolling on the bottom of the molding channel during the forward movement of the device encounters a large accumulation of water, the hygroscopic intermediate layer soaks up full and closes the alarm circuit. The inertia that is present when absorbing the moisture prevents even the smallest amounts of water, such as can be caused by condensation, from being deceived about the condition of the route and a fault message being issued via the alarm circuit. The hygroscopic device is easily exchangeable in or on the device, for example on a quick-release axle or in a trailer, so that the device can be used again very easily by inserting a new disk? while the moisture-containing pane is now is dried.
