Method and apparatus for encoding and decoding of image information by means of holography The invention relates to a method and a device for locking-t and decrypting image information by means of holography, in which to encrypt the image information them with a coherent from the same light source, illuminated together Auxiliary object is photographed.

Holo-

einfach In Aufbau. Es werden lediglich zwei nahe beieinander
angeordnete, vorzugsweise aufeinander liegende Halterahmen
tUr die Hologramme benötigt, welche einstellbar in ihrer Ebene
in
aufeinander gelegten Hologramme
gehende Licht ein Minimum. Orundsätzlich können beide Hologramme
als Negative, als Positive
oder ein Holoals Negativ, das
andere als Positiv verwendet werden. Letzteres hat außer dem vorstehend
genannten noch den
weiteren Vorteil, daß beim Aufeinanderlegen
beider Hologramme zur
Entaohltlsselung die Schichten
ohne weitere Vorkehrungen unmit*lbar aufeinander liegen. Im anderen
Falle ist es erforderlich, be-
reite bei der Aufnahme
die Schichtseite der totografischen Platten
entgegengesetzt räumlich
an derselben Stelle anzuordnen, so daß
bei der EntachlUsaelung
ebenfalls die Schiahtaeiten aufeinander
liegen.
Laser-
strahlung zu verwenden. Es grnügt mo=hm=tisohe Strahlung
einer
normalen Lichtquelle.

and the hologram is exactly adjusted in the recording position.
This is practically only possible in that the arrangement for

arranged, preferably superposed holding frame TUR needs the holograms which are adjustable moved in its plane in two perpendicular directions vorzugereiae and rotatable about an axis perpendicular to this plane. The displacement or rotation can take place with the aid of known mechanical fine drives . The adjustment can be done manually, but it is also possible to automate the balance by the wbd fotometriert by the superimposed Hologehende light in a specific area. Namely, geeiner particular embodiment of the invention the copied object Schlüaselhologram prepared by aid with a point source is positive, with precise adjustment, the line passing through the superimposed holograms light is a minimum. In principle, both holograms can be used as negative, as positive or one holo as negative and the other as positive . In addition to the above , the latter has the further advantage that when the two holograms are placed on top of one another for separation, the layers lie directly on top of one another without any further precautions. In the other case, it is necessary, aeration ride in the recording layer side of the photographic plates toto opposite spatially at the same position to be arranged so that the Schiahtaeiten lie in EntachlUsaelung also another. However, it is not absolutely necessary to use the two üolo-. gram 'to lay on top of each other for decryption'. It iatvmöglioh,
to map them to one another with one optic. As recording material

In the left part a of FIG. 1, the recording of a hologram 3 of the object 2 is shown schematically with the aid of a plane wave 1, which emanates from a coherent monochromatic light jellyfish, for example a laser. The hologram arises from the superimposed luxury, the directly irradiated plane wave 1 and the wave coming from the object.

In FIG. 2, the recording of a hologram 3 of the object 2 using two plane waves 1 ′ and 118 is shown in corresponding wine. In the reconstruction then two staggered virtual image 5 'and 5 "or real images 6' and 6 arise." From this it becomes clear that when a reference wave is approximated, which emanates from a help object and which is composed of many plane waves , when monochromatic light is penetrated, a virtual and real image is created in which the object is no longer recognizable .

The recording technique according to the invention is explained in FIG.
