Ein derartig konstruiertes Rohr hat den großen Vorteil, daß die Säure, abgesehen· von den kaum in Betracht kommenden Fugen, nur mit weißem Eisen in Berührung ist und daher ungefärbt aus dem Apparat kommt. Die Art der Herstellung kann selbstverständlich auch auf andere Verbundrohre bei anderweitiger Auswahl des Materials angewendet werden. So kann das Innenrohr aus besonders widerstandsfähigem Material, wie Legierungen, Spezialeisensorten und dergl., hergestellt werden, welches in Abschnitten aufeinander gebaut und umgössen wird.
