Die besondere Anordnung der Hinterfüße erlaubt die Verwendung einer Sitzplatte, die gerade im Bereich der vorderen Kante - abgesehen von den seitlichen Abrundungen-die größte Breite hat. Trapezförmige Sitzflächen sind an sich bei Stühlen bekannt.
