If the load exceeds this range, the output voltage collapses so that the output current is limited. The current value at which the breakdown of the output voltage occurs depends on the mains voltage, namely the current values at which the breakdown of the output voltage occurs can differ considerably with relatively small mains voltage fluctuations. The invention is based on the object of creating a magnetic voltage stabilizer of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the current value at which current limitation occurs can be set. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the transformer contains a DC-fed magnetizing winding for de-influencing the magnetic saturation of the transformer core. The magnetizing winding supplied with direct current is preferably a special winding arranged on the core that carries the secondary winding. The magnetizing winding supplied with direct current is expediently composed of two winding parts to which the same alternating voltages are applied. which are connected in series in opposite directions. The netization winding is expediently fed from a controllable DC voltage source. The DC voltage source can be controlled as a function of the test current or the output voltage. With the voltage stabilizer according to the invention, it is possible to select the 'saturation point of the transformer core and thus the constant current range independently of' the mains voltage. This means that the voltage in the constant voltage range can also be influenced to a certain extent. The invention also makes it possible to reduce the influence of frequency fluctuations in the AC mains voltage on the output voltage. The DC voltage source for supplying the magnetization voltage can contain a choke coil with a second winding located in the output circuit, which feeds a rectifier arrangement with this second winding, a control element, which is influenced by the output voltage of the rectifier arrangement, being provided for the direct current flowing through the magnetization winding. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing using an = exemplary embodiment. In the sign -:, ..

kann so bemessen werden, daß er die in Fig. 3 gezeigte Ausgangskennlinie erhält;
gespeist wird, lässt sich der Bereich, in welchem die Ausgangsspannung zusammenbricht;
beliebig einstellen.Fig. 1 schematically shows a representation of an inventive

Voltage stabilizer at different mains voltages. The one shown in FIG
magnetic voltage stabilizer consists of the main magnetic core 10, on
which the windings 12, 15, 17 and 20 are applied. 11 is a magnetic stray yoke,
through which a leakage flux path between primary winding 12 and secondary windings 15
and 17 is created. The secondary winding 15, the so-called resonance winding,
is connected to a capacitor 16 which, with the winding 15, forms an oscillating circuit
forms. 17 is a second secondary winding, at the ends 18 and 19 of which is a consumer
is connected. 20 is a magnetizing winding that is supplied by a DC voltage source
21 is fed. The voltage of this DC voltage source 21 is preferable
changeable. With this magnetization winding 20, the magnetization of the transformer core
10 can be changed, which also influences the output characteristic.
"The
The mode of operation of conventional voltage stabilizers is known per se; so they are here
need not be explained in detail. Such a voltage stabilizer
can be dimensioned so that it has the output characteristic shown in FIG. 3;
an alternating voltage is connected to the terminals 13 and 14 of the primary winding 12
while the consumer is on terminals 18 and 19. As can be seen from Fig. 3,
the voltage stabilizer increases the output voltage up to a certain current value
kept largely constant, while when the mentioned current value is reached the
Voltage collapses quite suddenly so that the current does not increase any further
can. Like from Pig. 3 also shows, the current limit values are in the event of mains voltage fluctuations
of + 10 N or -.10 ä compared to a nominal value of 100 ö relatively far apart.
This can be extremely undesirable in various cases. For example
a voltage stabilizer of the type mentioned for charging an accumulator battery
If used, the charging current may be a certain amount with regard to the charger
Do not exceed the maximum value. On the other hand, the charging current should also be possible
go to the permissible thermal limit of the charger, so that a fast
Battery charging is achieved. This can be done with a device with an output characteristic
Achieve according to Fig. 3 only if additional means are provided for current limitation
will.
By arranging the winding 20, which is carried by a direct current
is fed, the range in which the output voltage collapses;
set as desired.
Fig. 2 zeigt eine Schaltungsanordnung mit einem Spannungskonstanthalter
Fig. 2 shows a circuit arrangement with a voltage stabilizer
according to FIG. 1, in which, however, the magnetizing winding 20 is in two winding parts
20a and 20b is divided. These winding parts 20a and 20b are dimensioned so that
they supply the same alternating voltages. The two winding parts are with each other
connected in series in opposite directions, so that the alternating voltages cancel each other out.
The supply of direct current causes the magnetization of the transformer core
10 affected; whereby the output characteristic according to FIG. 4 can be achieved.
In the circuit arrangement according to FIG. 2, the output circuit is the

Rectifier 26 feeds with capacitor 27 connected in parallel on the output side.
The output voltage of the rectifier
26 is connected to a voltage divider
32, to which in turn the input circuit of a transistor 30 via a Zener diode
29 is connected. In the output circuit of the transistor 30 goats the two winding parts
20a and 20b of the magnetization weight 20. The transistor 30 is controlled,
as soon as the voltage in its input circuit is predetermined by the Zener diode 29
Has reached value. Then the magnetization winding 20a, 20b is fed with direct current
and thus influences the output characteristic in such a way that the current value at
which a breakdown of the output voltage occurs, regardless of fluctuations
the input voltage is kept largely constant. It can be used with it, for example
Reach the output characteristic according to FIG. When using two magnetizing winding parts
it is also possible to feed a winding with a fixed direct current and the
to feed the second winding in the opposite sense with direct current as soon as the mentioned
Current value is reached. But it is also possible to have both magnetizing winding parts
to feed with variable direct current, for example one of the feed currents
proportional. the output current is changed, while the direct current of the other
Winding is controlled depending on the output voltage.
Of the
Transistor 30 can be used both as a continuous regulator or as a switch for the magnetizing current
be trained. With a corresponding gain factor as a continuous controller or
transistor 30 designed as a switch, the constant current range is largely
independent of the mains voltage fluctuations on the primary side. It is also possible,
to compare the output voltage with a setpoint and use that as a continuous controller
or transistor working as a switch depending on the differential voltage
to control, whereby the output voltage can be influenced in a certain range.
The magnetizing winding 20 can of course also consist of one of the load circuit
separate voltage source are fed if, for example, the consumer
should be fed with alternating current. Known arrangements can then be used
the excitation current depending on the output current or the output voltage
to influence.
