FlaschenverschluS mit Kunststoff-Vers hduCkopf.
Bei Flüßigkeiten, welche durch Gärungsprozesse bez'. durch
Zusatz von Kohlenssure u. p., also z. B. Bier, rii ? r'rl-.".'asser,
Limonadenund"'ndere etr'nke in geschlossenen Flaschen un-
terDruck stehen, werden vorvieend Flaschen vr-cnde aie
mit dem allgemein bekannten Bügelverschluß oer Drahtfeder-
bügelverschluß versehen sind. Diese Verschlüsse'haben einen
Verschlußkopf aus Porzellan mit aufgse-cstem Gummiring als
Dichtungsmittel, der beweglich auf einem aus Drsht geform-
tenk'etallbü'-'el aufgezogen ist, vjobei der"et''llbügel im
Verschlußvorgang durch seine Hebelübersetsung, den am Ver-
achlußkopfaufgesetzten Gummiring auf die Flasckenoffnung
preßt.Diese Jerschllisse hben sich zor in Jezug auf 1ie
h-b (lichtur-Cl"
Abdichtung der Flaschenoffnungen gut bs'.'."'hrt, besitzen
aber

doch wesentliche IIr'chteile. Hier hatsich im eson ren die
Bildung von Bakterien durch Hefereste unter dem Gummiring
besonders bei leeren Flaschen gezeigt, die erfahrungsgemäß
bei der Reinigung der Flaschen nur ungenü end un schwer
zu beseitigen sind. Der Porzellnkopf mit dem Gummiring kann
daher als hygienisch nicht einwandfrei angesehen erde. Ein
weiterer Nachteil ist die geringe Schlagfestigkeit des Por-
zellans und der ungesichert aufgesetzte Gur-iring. Verschlüsse
mit zerschlagenen Porzellankopf en un''. fehlen'en Gummiringen
sindk'ine Seltenheit und daher eine wesentliche Unkosten-
belastung.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun ein Versc'lu'kopf aus Kunst-

Gummiring als Dichtungsmittel. Zur Anwendung kommen Kunst-
stoffe, welche die hier an sie g stellten Anfo'crungon so-
wohl in chemischer, r.''rm ? techniscer und hygienischer in-
sicht(u. a. nichtig bei der Reinigung. er Flaschen), ls auch
inihren technischen erten/'-'ie Festigkeit, latizitt,
Schlagfestigkeit, Abricbfestigkeit u. s. .'-'. er ü len. Derartige
Eunststoffe gibt es und sie sin slle'"ein bekannt (z. B. Lu-
polen,Hostnlen u. a.).
Die Anwendung eines Verschlußkopfes aus Iu'.'. st. toff er
be-
schriebenen Art in Zusammenhang mit I."etallbgeln als Ver-
schubelement ist eine Neuheit u-d d her hier Ge-'-stnd der
Erfindung.
Der VerschluPkopf Abb. 1, 2 kann entweder als ein volles stuck
aus einer Kunststoffmasse entsprechender lastiEltt auf dem
Spritz-oder Pressvjege hergestellt"'er en, besitzt aber wei-
tere Vorzüge, 'enn er mehrteilig, voi"-.'ie"end aus len beiden

wesentlichen eilen Deckel und Dichtung besteht. Die Formung
dieserbeiden Teile ist lediglich gebunden an lie Bedingungen,
welche sie zu erfüllen haben. Beispiele f"r'ie ahl vo Deckel
und Dichtung zeigen die Abb. 3 : für den eckel urd Abb. 4,7
für die Dichtung. Die Dichtung Abb. 4, 7 ergibt mit dm Deckel
Abb. 3, 6 dicht und fest inzeckehtspre hender-.'eise im Beson-
deren wie aus der Darstellungen ersichtlich zusammengefügt
einen Hohlraum derart, dass die in dem Eohlraum eingeschlos-
sene Luft als Luftpolster beim Verschluß der Flasche wirk-
sam wird und die Abdichtung der Flasche wesentlich unterstützt.
Sowohl der aus einem vollen Stück bestehende Verschlußkopf
als auch der mehrteilige Verschlußkopf sind in ihrer äußeren
Formgleichartig.
Für den Deckel Abb. 3, 6 (zweiteiliger Verschlukopf) kann
auch zweckmäßig ein härterer aber schlagfester Kunststoff
gewählt werden derart, dass für Deckel Abb. 3, G und Dichtung
Abb. 4,7 ein Kunststoff gleicher Art aber verschiedener Hprte
vorgesehenwird.

von Deckel und Dichtung Abb. 3, 6 u. Abb. 4, 7 empfiehlt es
sich,
bei Anwendung von Preßsitz die in die Nut des Deckels Abb3,
6
eingeschobenen Flachen des Dichtungrnnsatzes leicht aber
scharf zu riffeln. Diese Riffelung unterstützt die Dichtung
wesentlich. Ausserdem können natürlich auch die üblichen \
Binde-und Klebemittel zusätzlich angewendet werden.
Der Ansatz Abb. 4 Ziffer 1 kann je nach T ; ahl der Verbindung
auch fortfallen. Die Mantelfläche der Dichtung Ab. 4,7 kann
beispielsweise auch leicht gewölbt nach Abb, 4 Ziffer2
oder auch Kugelförmig nach Abb. 5 Ziffer 3 geformt sein.
S c h u t z a n s-o r ü c h e
1.) Verschlußkopf für Flaschen aller Art im Besonderen für
Bier-Mineralwasser-oder Limonadenflaschen u. ä. in Ver-
bindung mit den üblichen Metallbügeln dadurch gekenn-
zeichnet, dass der Verschlußkopf (Abb. 1, 2) als ein voller
Körper aus Kunststoff der hierfür erforderlichen Eigen-
schaften besteht, bezw. aus zwei Teilen-Deckel (Abb. 3, 6)
und Dichtung (Abb. 4,7) gebildet wird, wobei diese beiden
Teile fest und icht zusammengefügt und nötigenfalls
gegen Lösung gesichert einen Hohlraum ergeben.
2.) Verschlußkopf für Flaschen aller Art im Besonderen für
Bier-, Mineralwasser-, oder Limonaderflaschen u. p. in Ver-
bindung mit den üblichen'"'etallbügeln nach Anspruch 1
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei dem zweiteiligen Ver-
schlußkopf der Deckel (Abb-5, 6) aus einem härteren und
schlagfesten Kunststoff besteht,

bindung mit den üblichen Mete. llbügeln nach Anspruch 1 u.
2 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei dem zweiteiligen Ver-
schlußkopf Deckel (Abb. 3, ) un Dichtung (Abb. 4,7) durch
Preßsitz (Abb. 1, 2) oder federnde Einsprengung (Abb. 5)
verbundenwerden.
