Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Verpackungspolster,. die aus in Papierhüllen o.dgl. eingeschlagenem Polstermaterial (Stroh, Holz= wolle o. dgl.) bestehen. Solche Polster wurden bisher in der Weise hergestellt, daß zunächst ein Papierschlauch hergestellt und dann mit dem Polstermaterial ausgestopft wurde. Da solche Polster bei vielen Verpackungsarten um einenWinkel von 9 und beim Zusammenlegen zwecks Lagerung oder Versand sogar um l8 uge= bogen werden müssenr'durften sie nur leicht gestopft werden, weil die Hülle sonst anden Biegestellen zerriß. Dünn gestopfte Polster bietena ber keine Sicherheit gegen Stoßbeschädigungen des Packguts. Man hat daher solche gelenkig umzubiegende Polster , auch schon aus mehreren Polsterteilen zusammengesetzt, die mit= einander durch Schnüre, Drähte o. dgl.. verbunden waren.
