Description

Connecting element The invention relates to a connecting element for connecting round profiles with parts penetrated by an adapted bore, consisting of a corrugated sheet metal strip that can be bent or pre-bent into a ring with axially parallel elongated forms, the ends of which at least on one side of the front ends of the ring are at a distance.

It is known to use corrugated resilient bands to fasten machine parts on shafts, which are pressed between the parts to be stored. In order to avoid tilting the annularly curved strips, it is known to press the waves out of smooth sheet metal strips so that smooth sheet metal parts are left next to the waves at least on one of the cattle, but preferably on both edges. Such known designs are used as a tolerance ring, which have a good, resilient fit between the round profiles to be connected with bores are guaranteed. The well-known tolerance rings are used, among other things, for transferring catchers. Forces acting in the axial direction can @@ ri with the like tolerance rings or only to a relatively small extent Boundaries are transferred. Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the object of improving a connecting element of the type mentioned in such a way that, while maintaining the advantages of the known designs, forces acting in the axial direction can also be transmitted.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that in loading. A circumferential impression is arranged rich of the distance between the ends of the axially parallel expressions and the front ends of the ring. The circumferential embossings are rolled in in the area of this distance, preferably so that the circumference: 3.n; be embossing; . limit the axially parallel characteristics. The dimensions of the circumferential embossments designed as beads are advantageously chosen so that the apex of the circumferential embossing forms a plane with the apex of the axially parallel elongated embossments. This has the advantage that, in addition to the transmission of circumferential forces, a transmission of axial forces is made possible in a simple manner.

With the design of the connecting element according to the invention, the distribution is also connected that the construction of this element @ n-. tes relieved'isb. The connecting elements are usually: made of spring band steel. i'd; during production, the belt steel; @ ~ e @ r tF ° t, # -i.bielenken and rolled into finite rings. Here h: iufi_g a twisting of the steel strip was observed when issuing tet, dr.s had to be eliminated by additional operations. The advantage of the invention is that the input roll bzc .. ds embossing circumferential embossing a twisting of the Bandst: count is prevented. This is an additional tic-uns @ s: ... effort is no longer required. Finally, there is a further advantage of the invention if iusbildun .: of the connecting element - in a stiffening of the szamtc = n element that increases the forces to be transmitted contrib; iKt. @. on the basis of the drawing is an xusf: example of a connection element described according to the invention. Figures 1 and 2 show an annular connecting element 1 in a half-section and a side elevation partly in section. The connecting element 1 is used to connect a round profile 2, eg a wave, with one only partially shown of one adapted bore 3 penetrated part 4. The connecting element 1 consists @: of a corrugated, to be bent into a ring or pre- bent sheet metal strips, which with axially parallel shapes 5, the l'ings are trained, is provided. The ends 6 of the expression gings 5 have from the front ends' 7 of the connecting element 1 a distance in the area of which a circumferential embossment 8 is arranged. As can be seen from FIG the t'.elle 2 and the part 4, the annular connecting element 1 resiliently rests against the walls of the bore 3 and the shaft 2 in such a way that both circumferential forces and axial forces are to be transmitted.
