In der modernen Bautechnik werden sur Verkleidung von Bau-
werksfassaden sowohl als auch zur Verkleidung von Ivnenwän-
den und zum Belegen von Fußböden neben echtem Mosaik vielfach
Platten verwendete mit denen eine mosaikartige Wirkung ersielt
werden soll. Bekannt sind z. B. in genormten Größen lieferbare
Majolika-Mosaikplatten bei denen der Mosaikeindmek du. reh
gitterförmige Einteilung der ganzen Plattenfläche in gleich-
mäßige oder ungleichmäßige Polygone durch gleichförmige oder
ungleichförmigeStrichmuater erweekt werden soll..
Eine neue Art von Platten für Wandverkleidungen und Fußbodens
beläge umfaßt gemäß der Neuerung einen aus mehreren Teilen
bestehenden Satz von Formplatten mit ungleichmäßig polygonalen
Umrissen und derart aufeinander abgestimmten Seitenlangen
daßsich beim Zusammensetzen der Platten gleich breite Fugen
ergeben. Dabei kann aber die Breite der Fugen an verschiedenen
Kanten eines Pla, btensatzes entlang sein.
